Join Us at the Annual Fall Festival – September 28

As we open our Museum for the season, we invite community members to join us for a festival full of fun and local heritage. Spend some time with local crafters and vendors, enjoy music, children’s games, and face painting. Then come inside for a guided tour, which ends in the backyard at our antique tool barn, outhouse, and Memorial Stone Wall. We are looking forward to a wonderful day with friends and families from the Cranford community.
What is the Cranford Fall Festival?
The Cranford Fall Festival is an annual community event hosted by the Cranford Historical Society. It features crafts, vendors, music, children’s games, and guided tours of the Society’s historic museum and outdoor exhibits.

To Celebrate Women’s History Month this March, we are Honoring Women of the Cranford Historical Society.
Since my joining the Society in 1996 and becoming President since 2011, it has been an honor and pleasure to have known and worked side by side with all of the following women of the Society for many years.
With sadness in their passing in 2024, long time members who had given a generous amount of their time through the years at the Society:
Jean Koenig – Long time member & Volunteer.
Sally Harrington – Long time member, Past President, Volunteer & Emeritus Trustee.
Judy Bober – Long time member & Volunteer.
These women will always be missed.
With great sadness, the 2025 passing of Patricia Pavlak, long time member, Trustee, Past Curator, Past President and volunteer for so many years and now Emeritus Trustee. She will be greatly missed. The Society will always be appreciative for her generous time and expertise.
I am honoring our women Emeritus Trustees who helped the Society grow through the years and gave their time and expertise in so many ways, making the Society stronger:
Addie Vogel, Sally Harrington, Barbara Walker, Stephanie Williams, Christine Glazer, Toni Fiorello, Maribeth Lisnock and Patricia Pavlak.
The Women on the Board of Trustees for 2025:
Barbara Klaus, Maureen Wakeman, Debra Nicholls, Jean Pascarella, Cassie Roty, Irene Weiss, Gail Alterman, and BJ Canedo our Office Administrator.
To all our women members and to those women who have volunteered through the years to the Cranford Historical Society, we are so thankful to have you.
To all the women mentioned here, you are an asset to the Society and have played an important part in the growth and strength of the Society. I am grateful to have known each and every one of you through our membership.
