The interface has gotten worse and I’ve had more kernel panics with macOS in the last year than the previous 20 or so combined. I’m still on Sequoia because I don’t want to deal with Liquid Glass in Tahoe and my (admittedly aging) Intel-based iMac can’t run Golden Gate.

I know it's a beta still but it's not far off release at this point so I'd expect it to be better optimised by now. I do find it frustrating that we have this incredibly fast and powerful hardware that year on year just get's bogged down by bloated and poorly optimised software.

My Mac is getting on in years and I definitely am not interested in an “upgrade” that makes everything feel slow.
