Children and families were especially thrilled by a visit from Santa Claus and his elves, who spread holiday cheer throughout the square and made the night truly magical for Vancouver’s youngest attendees.

Amacon was honoured to welcome Mayor Ken Sim, members of Vancouver City Council, and valued event sponsors, who joined in marking the official lighting of the tree and shared remarks highlighting the importance of community connection, generosity, and giving back during the holiday season.

Beyond the festivities, the Tree Lighting continues to serve a meaningful purpose at the core of Amacon’s values. Proceeds from this year’s event were proudly donated to BC Children’s Hospital, the Vancouver International Children’s Festival, and Honour House, supporting organizations that make a lasting impact on children, families, and Canadian Armed Forces members and veterans.

Upper Floor Construction: With the foundation in place, the next steps involve pouring concrete slabs and building the structure level by level.

Mechanical & Electrical Rough-Ins: Key systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC will be installed as the building takes shape.

Vue is set to offer a wide range of sophisticated 1, 2, 3, and 4-bedroom homes, including a boutique collection of townhomes and live-work loft-style units. Residents will enjoy access to nearly 18,000 square feet of private indoor and outdoor amenities, including a fitness facility, outdoor swimming pool, social lounge, outdoor BBQ area, community garden and more.
