What To Do With A Seamless Pattern?
As an artist and quilter, surface patterns are a passion of mine. I've even made several of my own patterns and pattern collections, which you can find on the Licensing page of my site.
So, What Can You Do With a Seamless Pattern?
Seamless patterns can be used on fabrics and home decor, like I do in my Spoonflower shop. But that isn't the only way to use a seamless pattern. They are great for just about any product you can think of. I use them on backpacks, blankets, and stationary items in my Redbubble and Etsy shops.
Individual seamless patterns and collections of patterns can also be licensed by larger businesses to be used on their products. This option would allow you to have your designs on mass market products.

Safari Dream Art Prints Released
Having an undo button when making art really appeals to me. I love that I can go in an make adjustments to parts of a piece without affecting everything else. It led me to take online classes from the likes of Cat Coq, Charly Clements, and Bonnie Christine.
From there, I've developed my own sense of style that combines to the look of my traditional art, with the capabilities of working in digital. I am calling my most recent collection of illustrations "Safari Dream" - each piece featuring a different animal you might see on a safari.
This collection was based on the color palette and style of a traditional mixed media piece that I created featuring dried flowers.
For the digital pieces, I incorporated the bright macaroon color palette and textured background techniques of my traditional art piece, with more realistic illustrations for the animals, giving a fun and funky vibe to the artwork.
I'm not sure what my next series of art pieces will entail. Maybe it will involve the same techniques and styles, or it might be completely different. If you want to purchase one of these prints, stop by my Etsy Shop today.

Passion for Patterns
I have an absolute passion for creating patterns. They can be used in so many ways, and creating them gives me a sense of fulfillment that creating other types of images lacks. There is just something to having those perfect repeats that feels amazing to me.
Pattern design also gives me a chance to play with colors. It's fascinating how a color palette can affect the overall look of a piece of art. Things can go from subtle to bold with a click of the color picker.
Some artists have a particular color palette that they prefer to work in, but mood tends to affect my use of color, meaning that my patterns can be pretty variable.
