From Jefferson houses, the City and Federal public housing on Rindge Avenue, and for many living in nearby North Cambridge, and rather than busing school children to Tobin School—the Parkway bridge route is too dangerous to walk— or to the playing fields of Danehy Park, a second bridge over the tracks is an investment in equity, health, better access, and the environment.
