I was honored to have her do a dessert bar for my wedding, and guests are still talking about how wonderful it was! For our wedding she made her famous gingersnaps, oatmeal raisin, chocolate dipped chocolate chip, glazed lemon and almond, peanut butter, and m&m cookie bars! It was an amazing display, and of course I had to try one of each! She combines rustic, elegant and southern charm to make a beautiful display!

]]>Our photographer was Amanda Fietz with Faithfully Focused Photography. I have known Amanda for 15 years and can say she is a woman of incredible talent! Not only did she do an amazing job with our engagement and wedding pictures, she also did my hair and makeup that I loved! She has such an attention to detail, bringing her own props to make each and every picture beautiful! You can read more about her and Faithfully Focused Photography on her website below.
Carla Kayes with Carla Kayes Floral Design was there from the beginning, helping with decor ideas, colors and styles that fit my personality. Carla has such a creative skill set which included hand crafting our beautiful water color invitations, table numbers and guest book. I cannot even begin to share all the compliments we have received on the beautiful garland we stood under for the ceremony, the bouquets and table arrangements! It was more than I could have ever asked for! I trusted Carla so much, I told her to pick out and arrange all the flowers she thought would be best to go with my theme and I don’t think I could have imagined them to be any better! She is so incredibly talented and creative and really helped make my big day beautiful!
Then of course we had to cater our own wedding so that our wonderful staff could be there to celebrate with us! We had a wide array of appetizers from our meat, cheese and fruit platters, to chicken sausage kabobs with heirloom tomatoes, goat cheese stuffed cucumber cups with fig and caprese kabobs. Then for dinner served an Italian fare with our favorite lasagna; spicy red bell pepper creamy linguini with chicken sausage, kale and sundried tomatoes; roasted brussel sprouts and rainbow baby carrots with a balsamic glaze; apple salad with mixed greens, caramelized almonds, feta and craisins, Cesar salad, and gourmet rolls!
I was so excited to see all the details come together in what turned out to be the perfect day! It was so special to share this day with our family and friends! Thank you to all the vendors that that made my dreams come true on our special day!

While we may not get snow in the valley, the people here definitely know how to throw Christmas parties! Business holiday parties, the gathering of families and friends, spirited traditions; December is clearly a time to celebrate the past year’s accomplishments as well as reflect on memories shared with the ones we hold dear. While twinkling lights, seasonal music and the smell of pine are a must have, what, of course, is the key ingredient for all of these events?
The food!
We understand that food is central to bringing people together and creating a festive atmosphere. Whether it be a warm hearty meal or delicious snacks and treats, no party is complete without the right food.
Over the years Anne Taylor Catering has had the pleasure and opportunity to serve at many different Christmas events, and we’d love to share some of our favorite holiday menus and samplings with you.
For more formal holiday events we suggest a dinner with one (or two!) of these delicious entrees:
- Creamy chicken marsala with wild mushrooms | wonderful alongside our risotto with mushrooms and parmesan
- Juicy Beef Burgundy with Tri-Colored Bell Peppers in a Red Wine Sauce over linguini | delicious with our vegetable medley of broccoli, bell peppers and rainbow carrots
- Tender grilled herb tri-tip | excellent with our roasted potatoes with rosemary
These items are sure to impress guests as well as let them know they are important to you.
For those festive get-togethers that are filled with conversation, laughter, and maybe even a few games, snacks and finger foods are a perfect choice. Here are some of our most popular appetizers:
- Assorted meat and cheese platter with almonds and berries
- Spinach and Artichoke dip with baked pita chips
- Bruschetta on a Baked Baguette with Shaved Parmesan
- Baked Brie with raspberry compote and caramelized almond
