I don't think Leatherneck did much in the Marvel comics. I think he was there for the assault on Springfield when Serpentor was in control and that's about it.

In reply to Jason Maust. Got mine this weekend and opened today. Very pleased with it. I chucked the glasses in a bin as I have no desire to have those, but they were well done. The backpack doesn't sit quite right. It's fine...just something is off with how the peg goes in.

Never been the biggest Leatherneck fan but this is a superbly executed figure. Very well done by the team. He's an understated, straightforward soldier and–even still–he stands out in his own way.

He seems to be just a tad shorter than Zandar. In the 80s I don't recall him necessarily being depicted as a big guy but more modern figure interpretations have leaned that way. The last and best 4" one we got was built on the body used for Dwayne Johnson Roadblock. Not a deal breaker but interesting that Hasbro went that direction. I do worry about losing his bracelet to the carpet monster some day. Hoping Wetsuit comes sooner rather than later.
