Thanks for the tip. The idea is set a standard by not doing something special the first week. After this I’ll try things in iterations. I’ll try this one as well just to see if it helps.

Nice going! But don’t postpone the fitness stuff, try the scientific 7 minute workout instead – no specific gear needed and it’s quite intense 😉

In reply to Jan Dumon. Actually I used this for a while. I think I posted it somewhere. But this means you have to fire up davmail first and then start your email client. Also I noticed that the integration with contacts isn't always performing as expected. With evolution you get a one stop shop for this.

You could always try davmail. It acts as bridge between exchange and open protocols (POP, IMAP, SMTP, Caldav, LDAP, …)
With davmail, I can (in thunderbird) lookup people’s email, invite them for a meeting, check their availability, see my own and other’s calendars and even send/receive mail…

Long time no see/hear 🙂
Nice to know you are also using Vaadin in your projects, it’s a pretty cool framework and it seems very promossing I must say.
As always applying the right design patterns for the right project is a must, but you probably know that as well 🙂

We found on our project that using Vaadin without applying proper MVP (Supervising Controller), it get real crappy, really fast. Interesting experience indeed. My next go at it will be a little different. 🙂

@Philip,

If I always had to refuse a Job where Exchange was the default and everybody had to send an receive on my private mail, well I wouldn’t get much jobs.

I was actaully looking for a desktop mail client. For Android I just installed the stock Mail app not the default HTC one. The default mail app works much better!
