Swatantryaveer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, popularly known as Veer Savarkar, was born on May 28, 1883. A towering figure in India’s freedom movement, he was also a revolutionary, poet, writer, and a visionary social reformer. Veer Savarkar played a pivotal role in igniting the spirit of resistance against British colonial rule in the early 20th century. He founded revolutionary organizations aimed at uniting and mobilizing young Indians in the cause of independence. His indomitable courage was most evident during his incarceration at the infamous Cellular Jail in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, where he endured immense hardship with unwavering resolve. Beyond his revolutionary fervor, he was a staunch advocate of social reforms and modernization. He championed the ideals of rationalism, dismantling social evils, and fostering a progressive Indian society. His legacy endures through his writings, his relentless pursuit of national freedom, and his vision for a strong, self-reliant India. His life remains a powerful testament to patriotism, resilience, and reform.

The portrait of Swatantryaveer V.D. Savarkar, placed in the Central Hall of Samvidhaan Sadan was painted by Smt. Chandrakala Kumar Kadam and officially unveiled on 26 February , 2003, by the then President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

The President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu presented the ‘President of India’s Police Colour’ to the Sikkim Police at Gangtok today (May 28, 2026).

Speaking on the occasion, the President congratulated all officers and police personnel associated with the Sikkim Police in the past and present for this honour. She was happy to note that since its establishment in 1897, this force has worked to ensure peace, security, and justice in Sikkim.

The President said that India's policing system has the imprint of a prolonged period of colonial rule. During the era of colonial subjugation, the primary objective of the police was not to serve the public but to control them and strictly enforce the dictates of the ruling regime. Consequently, a colonial mindset took root within the police system. Under this mindset, the prevailing attitude within the police was one of ruling over the public, rather than one of cooperating with them. This mindset is now transforming. She stressed that to empower the citizens of the nation, it is essential to completely shed this colonial outlook. Only then will the citizens be able to contribute wholeheartedly to the achievement of the goal of Viksit Bharat.

The President underlined that transparency and accountability are absolutely indispensable within the policing system. She stated that the police apparatus must be made more citizen-friendly so that ordinary people can register their grievances without fear. Priority must also be accorded to adopting a sensitive approach towards women, children, and vulnerable sections of society.

The President said that the police must evolve into partners and guides for the citizens. By embracing this collaborative role, trust between the public and the police will be strengthened. When the police understand people's problems and extend assistance, it will simultaneously enhance the sense of security within society and deepen respect for the rule of law. She emphasised that the objective of the policing system should not be confined merely to apprehending criminals, but should extend to building a secure and socially conscious society.

​The President was happy to note that the Sikkim Police has made a significant contribution to maintaining peace and harmony in Sikkim. Through their professional conduct and friendly demeanour towards the citizens, it has earned the affection and respect of the people of Sikkim.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the 51st meeting of PRAGATI, the ICT-enabled, multi-modal platform aimed at fostering Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation, by seamlessly integrating efforts of the Central and State governments, at Seva Teerth, earlier on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister reviewed seven critical infrastructure projects across the Railways, Power and Road sectors covering nine States worth around ₹30,000 crore. These projects, pivotal to economic growth and public welfare, were reviewed with a focus on timelines, inter-agency coordination, and timely issue resolution. Prime Minister also reviewed Ken Betwa Link Project and Swachh Bharat Mission-Urban 2.0. While reviewing Ken-Betwa River Inter-linking Project, Prime Minister observed that Ken-Betwa project should serve as a model for other States to resolve inter-State water issues

PM asked States to expedite the completion of solid waste management-related infrastructure, including waste processing plants and GOBARdhan plants.

Prime Minister also emphasized that innovative use of canal networks should be explored, including installation of solar panels along canals and over canals for clean electricity generation.

In pursuance of the directions of the Prime Minister, a system of monthly review of social sector schemes at the State level has also been operationalised. As part of this initiative, Swachh Bharat Mission has been taken up for review at the State level in the first instance.

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar is visiting Cyprus to participate in the Informal Meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Ministers. S. Jaishankar arrived at the venue in Lemesos at the invitation of Vice President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas.

The meeting will be conducted in the Gymnich format, which takes place once every six months and provides the opportunity for more open discussion and reflection on key issues, including the current and the regional ones.

Ahead of attending the meeting, EAM Jaishankar met Kaja Kallas. The two leaders discussed India-EU cooperation and the situation in West Asia. Jaishankar also held a good meeting with his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin-Farhan and appreciated his assessments and insights on the evolving situation in West Asia.

A useful meeting was also held between EAM Jaishankar and Ukrainian FM Andrii Sybiha. They exchanged views on the Ukraine conflict and also discussed bilateral cooperation.

Lucknow 27 May; Chief of UNICEF Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Zakari Adam, met Hon’ble Speaker, Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha, Shri Satish Mahana, yesterday at his Vidhan Sabha chambers to discuss key priorities for children, youth and women in the state.

Dr. Adam appreciated the Hon’ble Speaker’s leadership in strengthening legislative proceedings, as well as the dignity and decorum of India’s largest Legislative Assembly. He highlighted the important role of State Legislatures, Legislative Committees and Hon’ble Legislators in upholding the rights and ensuring the well-being of children. Uttar Pradesh is home to 8.5 crore children, accounting for nearly 43 per cent of the state’s total population—larger than many countries in the world.

Each Legislative constituency has more than 50 per cent of its population comprising children and young people, whose holistic development is crucial to achieving the vision of Viksit UP.

The Hon’ble Speaker acknowledged UNICEF’s work on children and women’s issues in collaboration with key government departments in the state. He encouraged active engagement with legislators to deepen their understanding of child-related indicators, the state’s progress on SDGs, good practices from different states and countries, and the gaps and challenges in improving outcomes for children in health, nutrition, sanitation, quality education, protection and safety.

Mr. P. K. Dubey, Principal Secretary, Vidhan Sabha, facilitated the discussions. Dr. Adam was joined by Ms. Piush Antony, Social Policy Specialist, and Ms. Nipurnh Gupta, Communication Specialist.UNICEF UP.

The deliberations focused on Uttar Pradesh’s child budget statement and the role of Legislative Committees and legislators in ensuring that allocations for child-, youth- and women-focused schemes reach and benefit the most vulnerable and last-mile populations. The state’s status on child and maternal mortality, as well as nutrition, was also discussed with a view to accelerating the achievement of Sustainable Development targets.

The state government’s initiatives for children’s well-being—including the Dastak Abhiyan, SAMbhav Abhiyan, Bal Seva Yojna and Bal Shramik Yojna, among others, with UNICEF’s technical support—were also highlighted during the discussion.

The meeting concluded with UNICEF reaffirming its commitment to strengthening collaboration and support to the State Legislative Assembly to ensure sustainable outcomes for children and women in Uttar Pradesh.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has urged citizens across the country to take all possible precautions amid soaring temperatures being witnessed in different parts of India.

Shri Modi urged people to stay hydrated, carry water while stepping out and extend help to others by offering them water during the harsh weather conditions.

The Prime Minister also advised people to remain alert to signs of heat exhaustion such as dizziness, nausea and extreme fatigue. He urged citizens to immediately help anyone feeling unwell, weak or suffering from headaches by moving them to a cool and shaded place and ensuring availability of water and ORS.

Shri Modi noted that children, elderly people and those working outdoors are especially vulnerable during extreme heat and cautioned that ignoring warning signs may lead to heatstroke.

Shri Modi also called upon people to regularly check on elderly parents, grandparents and loved ones during the heatwave and remind them to stay hydrated, avoid stepping out during peak afternoon hours and take adequate rest.

Emphasising compassion during extreme weather conditions, the Prime Minister appealed to citizens to keep bowls of water outside homes, balconies, terraces, shops and offices for birds and animals.

In a series of X posts, Shri Modi said;

Children, the elderly and those working outdoors are especially vulnerable during extreme heat. Ignoring these warning signs can quickly turn dangerous and may even lead to heatstroke. In such weather, timely care and attention go a long way.”

“Whenever possible, call and check on elderly parents, grandparents and loved ones during this heatwave. Remind them to stay hydrated, avoid stepping out in peak afternoon hours and take rest whenever possible.”

“In this extreme heat, let us also remember the birds and animals around us. A small bowl of water kept outside your home, balconies, terraces, shops or offices can become a lifeline for a thirsty bird. May compassion guide us in these difficult days.”

देश के मध्य और उत्तर-पश्चिम हिस्सों में अगले 3 से 4 दिनों तक सीवियर हीटवेव का भयंकर प्रकोप जारी रहेगा। मौसम विभाग ने इन क्षेत्रों के लिए अलर्ट जारी करते हुए तापमान में लगातार भारी उछाल की चेतावनी दी है।

इसके साथ ही पूर्वी और उससे लगे इलाकों में भी अगले 2 से 3 दिनों तक भीषण लू चलने की प्रबल संभावना है। भीषण गर्मी को देखते हुए मौसम विभाग ने लोगों को दोपहर के समय अनावश्यक रूप से घरों से बाहर न निकलने की सलाह दी है।

प्रशासन ने सभी नागरिकों से चिलचिलाती गर्मी के दौरान सुरक्षित रहने और एहतियात बरतने की सख्त अपील की है।

A fire broke out in a forest area in Kasauli, at least two Indian Air Force helicopters were deployed to douse the blaze on Tuesday. The fire engulfed a significant portion of forest. Teams of the forest department and several fire tenders rushed to douse the fire but were unable to put out the fire.

The IAF then deployed its Mil Mi-17 and Chinook helicopters to put out the fire, especially in inaccessible areas of the forest. Water was also lifted from Chandigarh's Sukhna Lake to douse the fire.

In another incident, a forest fire was also reported in Rajhana village near Shimla. Teams of forest and fire departments rushed to put out the fire. Officials have stated that the rise in temperatures over the past few days is likely the cause behind the forest fires.

The Supreme Court has upheld several convictions in a case of murder of five people in Bihar in 1983, saying the brutality of the incident shocks the judicial conscience. A bench of Justices Sanjay Karol and N Kotiswar Singh said yesterday that the trial court as well as the Patna High Court rightly observed that the case leaves no room for misplaced sympathy or leniency. The top court delivered its verdict on the appeals filed by the convicts challenging an August 2017 judgment of the Patna High Court.

The high court had upheld the conviction and life sentence awarded by the trial court to these convicts.

The apex court noted that the incident took place in March 1983 in a village in Muzaffarpur district, where a mob of at least 58 persons set the house of Chandra Shekhar Choudhary on fire, followed by the brutal killing of five persons and wounding of several others. It was the day of Holi when the mob armed with deadly weapons surrounded Choudhary’s house.

The Supreme Court will today pronounce judgment on a batch of petitions challenging the legality of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls done by the Election Commission of India.

A Bench of Chief Justice of India (CJI) Surya Kant and Justice Joymalya Bagchi is scheduled to pronounce its verdict today after reserving judgment in the matter earlier this year, following extensive hearings.

The petitions challenge the legality of the SIR exercise undertaken by the poll body, contending that the revision process exceeds the powers conferred upon the ECI under Article 326 of the Constitution, the Representation of the People Act, 1950, and the rules framed thereunder.

The controversy primarily centres around the ECI’s requirement that voters whose names were absent from the 2002 electoral rolls or the 2003 rolls in certain states must establish ancestral linkage to a person whose name appeared in those electoral rolls.

The petitioner’s side had argued before the apex court that the condition could potentially disenfranchise genuine voters, particularly marginalised and migrant populations who may not possess documentary proof tracing their ancestry to earlier electoral records.

Over the course of the proceedings, the Supreme Court issued interim directions designed to promote transparency and mitigate hardship among voters impacted by the SIR exercise across various states and union territories (UTs).

The poll body had initially identified 11 documents for verification purposes. However, the apex court later directed the inclusion of Aadhaar as an additional document for the SIR process.

Most of the petitions were filed in June last year after the ECI decided to conduct an SIR in Bihar. The exercise was subsequently extended to multiple states and UTs, including West Bengal, Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

The poll body defended the exercise before the apex court, contending that the revision was aimed at ensuring the purity of electoral rolls and preventing duplication or inclusion of ineligible voters. After hearing the parties, the CJI Surya Kant-led Bench reserved its verdict on January 29.

पूर्णिया जिले की सड़कों पर किसानों द्वारा मक्का सुखाने की बढ़ती प्रवृत्ति अब सड़क हादसों का बड़ा कारण बनती जा रही है। जिले के विभिन्न मार्गों पर बड़ी संख्या में किसान सड़क पर अतिक्रमण कर मक्का सुखाते नजर आ रहे हैं, जिसके कारण आवागमन बाधित हो रहा है और लगातार दुर्घटनाएं हो रही हैं।

स्थानीय लोगों के अनुसार किसान सड़क के आधे से अधिक हिस्से पर मक्का फैलाकर सुखाने का कार्य करते हैं। इससे वाहन चालकों को काफी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ता है और कई बार वाहन असंतुलित होकर दुर्घटना का शिकार हो जाते हैं। बताया जा रहा है कि मक्का के कारण लगभग प्रतिदिन सड़क हादसे हो रहे हैं, जिनमें कई लोगों की जान भी जा चुकी है।

लोगों का कहना है कि किसानों की थोड़ी सी लापरवाही कई परिवारों के लिए भारी पड़ रही है। सड़क पर मक्का फैलाए जाने से खासकर रात के समय दुर्घटना की आशंका और बढ़ जाती है। इसके बावजूद कई किसान इस गंभीर समस्या को नजरअंदाज कर रहे हैं।

मामले को लेकर प्रशासन ने भी संज्ञान लिया है। पूर्णिया के अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी (एसडीएम) ने स्वीकार किया कि सड़क पर मक्का सुखाने से दुर्घटनाएं हो रही हैं और लोगों की मौत तक हो रही है। उन्होंने किसानों से अपील की है कि वे सड़कों पर मक्का न सुखाएं और वैकल्पिक स्थानों का उपयोग करें।

एसडीएम ने चेतावनी देते हुए कहा कि यदि इसके बावजूद लोग नहीं मानते हैं, तो संबंधित व्यक्तियों के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी। प्रशासन द्वारा जल्द ही अभियान चलाकर सड़क पर अतिक्रमण कर मक्का सुखाने वालों पर कार्रवाई की तैयारी की जा रही है, ताकि सड़क दुर्घटनाओं पर रोक लगाई जा सके और यातायात व्यवस्था सुचारु बनी रहे।

प्रवर्तन निदेशालय ने मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी करने वाले गिरोह के खिलाफ चेन्नई और मदुरै में पांच स्थानों पर तलाशी अभियान चलाया। जांच में खुलासा हुआ कि यह गिरोह समुद्री मार्ग के जरिए श्रीलंका में हशीश और मेथम्फेटामाइन की तस्करी कर रहा था।

जांच एजेंसियों के अनुसार गिरोह 108 करोड़ रुपये मूल्य की 99 किलो हशीश और 150 करोड़ रुपये मूल्य की 37.5 किलो मेथम्फेटामाइन की तस्करी में शामिल था। राजस्व खुफिया निदेशालय की शिकायतों के आधार पर प्रवर्तन निदेशालय ने मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग जांच शुरू की।

भारतीय तटरक्षक बल से मिली जानकारी के आधार पर राजस्व खुफिया निदेशालय मदुरै ने 5 मार्च 2024 को मन्नार की खाड़ी से 99 किलो हशीश और मदुरै रेलवे स्टेशन से 37 किलो से अधिक मेथम्फेटामाइन बरामद की थी।

जांच एजेंसियों के मुताबिक जॉन ब्रिटो इस गिरोह का सरगना है। वह मछुआरों और नाव मालिकों की मदद से खुले समुद्र में श्रीलंकाई संपर्कों तक नशीले पदार्थ पहुंचाता था। मामले में आगे की जांच जारी है।

राजधानी दिल्ली में क्वाड विदेश मंत्रियों की बैठक के बाद विदेश मंत्रालय ने बताया कि बैठक की चर्चाएं सहयोग की मुख्यत चार प्रमुख स्तंभों पर केंद्रित रही। विदेश मंत्रालय में अमेरिका डिविजन के एडिशनल सेक्रेट्ररी के नागराज नायडू ने बताया कि यह मंच लगातार एक व्यावहारिक और कार्य-उन्मुख सहयोग तंत्र के रूप में विकसित हो रहा है, जो क्षेत्र के देशों के लिए ठोस और वास्तविक लाभ प्रदान करने पर केंद्रित है।

उन्होंने बताया कि क्वाड्रिलैटरल सिक्योरिटी डायलॉग ने क्वाड क्रिटिकल मिनरल्स इनिशिएटिव फ्रेमवर्क की घोषणा की है। नायडू ने बताया कि इस पहल का उद्देश्य विश्वसनीय और लचीली क्रिटिकल मिनरल्स आपूर्ति श्रृंखलाओं को मजबूत करना है, जिसमें खनन, प्रसंस्करण, रीसाइक्लिंग और निवेश जैसे क्षेत्रों में सहयोग को बढ़ावा दिया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि इस फ्रेमवर्क के तहत सार्वजनिक और निजी क्षेत्र की भागीदारी को प्रोत्साहित किया जाएगा, ताकि विनियामक प्रथाओं, निवेश सुविधा, रीसाइक्लिंग तकनीकों और उन्नत विनिर्माण को मजबूती दी जा सके।

In the United Kingdom, temperatures crossed 30 degrees Celsius in London. The Meteorological Office said Britain recorded its hottest May day on Monday, with another record likely on Tuesday.

Slovakia’s capital Bratislava also experienced unusually high temperatures, with mercury levels rising nearly eight degrees above the seasonal average for late May.

Authorities across Europe have urged people to take precautions amid continuing extreme weather conditions.

बठिंडा, 26 मई 2026: पंजाब केन्द्रीय विश्वविद्यालय ने अपने नवाचार एवं उद्यमिता पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र को सशक्त बनाने की दिशा में एक और महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि हासिल करते हुए भारत सरकार के विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय द्वारा “निधि” योजना के अंतर्गत प्रायोजित इन्क्लूसिव टेक्नोलॉजी बिजनेस इन्क्यूबेटर (निधि-आईटीबीआई) — सीयूपी रिसर्च एंड डेवलपमेंट फाउंडेशन (सीयूपीआरडीएफ) सुविधा का औपचारिक शुभारंभ किया। इसके साथ ही सीयूपीआरडीएफ में इन्क्यूबेट की गई धान की पराली से टिकाऊ डिस्पोजेबल टेबलवेयर तैयार करने वाली स्टार्टअप कंपनी मैसर्स ससपैक टेक्नोलॉजीज प्राइवेट लिमिटेड की पायलट मैन्युफैक्चरिंग सुविधा का भी उद्घाटन किया गया।

उद्घाटन समारोह में मुख्य अतिथि एवं आईआईटी रोपाड़ के निदेशक प्रो. राजीव आहूजा, सीयू पंजाब के कुलपति प्रो. राघवेंद्र प्रसाद तिवारी, सम कुलपति प्रो. किरण हजारिका, विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग (डीएसटी) के वैज्ञानिक-सी डॉ. सी.एस. यादव, कुलसचिव डॉ. विजय शर्मा तथा वित्त अधिकारी डॉ. राज कुमार शर्मा विशेष रूप से उपस्थित रहे। मुख्य अतिथि प्रो. राजीव आहूजा और कुलपति प्रो. राघवेंद्र पी. तिवारी ने बोर्ड सदस्यों, संकाय सदस्यों, शोधार्थियों, स्टार्टअप संस्थापकों, नवप्रवर्तकों एवं विद्यार्थियों की उपस्थिति में सीयूपीआरडीएफ पट्टिका का अनावरण भी किया।

गणमान्य अतिथियों ने बोर्ड सदस्यों, संकाय सदस्यों, शोधार्थियों, स्टार्टअप संस्थापकों, नवप्रवर्तकों एवं विद्यार्थियों की उपस्थिति में सुविधाओं के उद्घाटन पट्ट का अनावरण किया।

इस अवसर पर सीयूपी रिसर्च एंड डेवलपमेंट फाउंडेशन की परियोजना निदेशक प्रो. (डॉ.) अंजना मुंशी तथा मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी डॉ. अक्षय नाग ने अतिथियों का स्वागत करते हुए सीयूपीआरडीएफ द्वारा विकसित सुविधाओं, गतिविधियों एवं नवाचार संबंधी पहलों की विस्तृत जानकारी दी। भारत सरकार के विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग (डीएसटी) की निधि (निधि) योजना के अंतर्गत स्थापित सीयूपीआरडीएफ का उद्देश्य तकनीक-आधारित उद्यमों, ग्रामीण नवाचारों, सतत विनिर्माण तथा उद्यमिता विकास को प्रोत्साहित कर स्टार्टअप एवं नवाचार पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र को मजबूत बनाना है। मैसर्स ससपैक टेक्नोलॉजीज प्राइवेट लिमिटेड को सीयूपीआरडीएफ की इग्निशन ग्रांट योजना के अंतर्गत ₹8.30 लाख की वित्तीय एवं इन्क्यूबेशन सहायता प्रदान की गई है। यह स्टार्टअप धान की पराली को पर्यावरण-अनुकूल डिस्पोजेबल टेबलवेयर में परिवर्तित करने पर कार्य कर रही है, जिससे पारंपरिक उत्पादों के टिकाऊ विकल्प उपलब्ध कराने के साथ-साथ कृषि अपशिष्ट प्रबंधन को भी बढ़ावा मिलेगा।

उद्घाटन के उपरांत अतिथियों ने डीएसटी एवं विश्वविद्यालय के सहयोग से विकसित विभिन्न इन्क्यूबेशन एवं नवाचार सुविधाओं का अवलोकन किया। इनमें पायलट स्तर की फूड प्रोसेसिंग सुविधा, डिजाइन एंड डेवलपमेंट (डी एंड डी) लैब, फैब्रिकेशन एवं मैकेनिकल वर्कशॉप से युक्त फैब लैब, अत्याधुनिक थ्री-डी प्रिंटिंग इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर, कॉन्फ्रेंस हॉल, कैफेटेरिया तथा साझा स्टार्टअप कार्यालय शामिल रहे। गणमान्य अतिथियों ने कृषि अपशिष्ट के उपयोग, पर्यावरणीय स्थिरता तथा सर्कुलर इकोनॉमी को बढ़ावा देने की दिशा में स्टार्टअप के नवाचारपूर्ण प्रयासों की सराहना की। उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसी तकनीकों में पराली जलाने की समस्या के समाधान के साथ-साथ रोजगार सृजन एवं टिकाऊ व्यवसायिक अवसर विकसित करने की व्यापक संभावनाएँ हैं।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान आयोजित इंटरैक्टिव सत्र में इन्क्यूबेटेड स्टार्टअप्स ने अपने नवाचारपूर्ण उत्पादों एवं तकनीकों का प्रदर्शन भी किया। आयुकेयर हेल्थकेयर एंड डायग्नोस्टिक्स के डॉ. सुनील सिंह एवं डॉ. रविंद्रेश छाबड़ा ने सर्वाइकल कैंसर की प्रारंभिक जांच हेतु तैयार-प्रयोग एचपीवी डिटेक्शन स्ट्रिप प्रस्तुत की। वहीं उच्चार इनोवेशंस एलएलपी की डॉ. मीनू अरोड़ा एवं डॉ. अर्चना रानी ने कृषि उपयोगों के लिए धान की पराली से बायोचार बनाने संबंधी तकनीक प्रदर्शित की। इसके अतिरिक्त हरिनारायण रिसाइक्लर्स प्राइवेट लिमिटेड के डॉ. विवेक शर्मा ने पीईटी अपशिष्ट पुनर्चक्रण एवं सर्कुलर इकोनॉमी समाधान संबंधी पहल प्रस्तुत की।

इस अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि प्रो. राजीव आहूजा ने सीयूपीआरडीएफ द्वारा विकसित किए जा रहे सशक्त नवाचार पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र की सराहना करते हुए विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि यह इन्क्यूबेटर क्षेत्र में उद्यमिता एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विकास का प्रमुख केंद्र बनकर उभरेगा। उन्होंने कुलपति प्रो. राघवेंद्र पी. तिवारी के नेतृत्व की भी प्रशंसा की, जिसके माध्यम से विश्वविद्यालय में नवाचार, उद्यमिता, सतत विनिर्माण एवं स्टार्टअप संस्कृति को प्रोत्साहन मिल रहा है।
