A true mark of a comic is when it retcon events or characters. well done! These have been entertaining updates to your story. The extended pages left the main characters in a good spot where no one important will trip over them. I can't imagine what tormenting revelation awaits us in this intermission. Perhaps this ties in The First Beet of the Year into this quasiverse, or that shuttle crash that brought about The Dope.

I can tell you outright elpse and nemitz have the exact same body. That was a very early, deliberate choice which I might have handled differently if I had thought about it differently. I think even lope looks too much like them, now, but having the big stupid snout and neck help me handle it differently enough that its similarity to the other two fools is not as blatant as theirs’ to each other.

I tend to think of nemitz and elpse as variant primates. Lope is more distinctly reptilian

I only had to know that I meant the figures to be cat-like! And not in an inspired way, either; they should be sneaky and stretchy. Whatever the case I have too many bland-looking characters in here and having two of them look bland in the the same way feels like a waste!

I really love this page :) That said, I did not know that was a cat-intended creature without your comments. Also that said, after being raised among 3 cats, I have no tolerance for them either.

The noodle moment was blessed, as is the nonsensical boat. Really lovely page.
