Telltale Games has just revealed the release date(s) and all-new screens for the first of three episodes in their upcoming The Walking Dead: Michonne – A Telltale Miniseries.
Titled, ‘In Too Deep,’ the first episode of the miniseries will be available on iOS platforms starting Thursday February 25th. The second episode, ‘Give No Shelter,’ will follow in the month of March, and the miniseries will conclude with the third and final episode, ‘What We Deserve,’ in April.
It’ll cost you a total of $14.99 to unlock all three episodes.
The Walking Dead: Michonne – A Telltale Miniseries stars the iconic, blade-wielding character from Robert Kirkman’s best-selling comic books, portrayed in-game by award-winning actress Samira Wiley (who portrays Poussey Washington in the Netflix original series Orange Is the New Black). Haunted by her past, and coping with unimaginable loss and regret, the story explores Michonne’s absence between issues #126 and #139 of the comic book. Over the three episodes of the miniseries, players will discover what took Michonne away from Rick, Ezekiel, and the rest of her trusted group… and what brought her back.

Zen Studios has just announced that they are partnering with Telltale Games and Robert Kirkman to create an all-new digital pinball table based on the Telltale’s Award-Winning Walking Dead game series.
And it sounds pretty incredible!
The table will revisit the locations and events which played out during the first season of Telltale’s episodic adventure game series, “capturing the peril and drama of Lee and Clementine’s story”. Players will be set off from Clementine’s treehouse and Everett’s pharmacy in Macon and make their way through the “walker-infested streets of Savannah”.
Zen Studios is a huge admirer of Telltale Games, and we truly cherish the opportunity to work with such amazing visionaries,” said Mel Kirk, Vice President of Publishing at Zen Studios. “Working with Telltale’s The Walking Dead is a hallmark moment as we continue our quest to create the most memorable and authentic pinball experiences.
Like the original adventure game, players will have choices to make regarding who survives and who perishes, as well as problem solving and more. The game will also include ” original story dialogue from the award-winning cast”.
Zen knocked it out of the park with their interpretation Telltale’s first season of The Walking Dead as a pinball table,” said Steve Allison, SVP of Publishing at Telltale Games. “Players once again get to step into the shoes of Lee Everett and protect Clementine as all the major events of season one play a role in the first ever pinball game that features choice and consequence gameplay.
The Walking Dead Pinball table will be available for download later this summer within the Zen Pinball app.

IGN has just announced this month’s iOS freebie, and it is The Wolf Among Us: Episode 1.
The Wolf Among Us is Telltale’s amazing new episodic adventure game series based on Bill Willingham’s award-winning Vertigo comic book series ‘FABLES‘.
Players take on the role of Bigby Wolf (THE big bad wolf in human form) who, as the Sheriff of Fabletown must stop the evil characters from popular fairytales, legends and folklore who have escaped into the human world. Can he fight his primal urges and retain control of his inner beast and protect the very people he used to hunt?

We just got this week’s batch of new releases, but next week is already off to a good start as well.
Telltale Games has just released the first official trailer for the next episode to follow their fantastic ‘The Wolf Among Us,’ episodic adventure game series based on Bill Willingham’s award-winning Vertigo comic book series ‘FABLES‘.
The episode, which is titled ‘Smoke & Mirrors’, will be available for download sometime next week. Once released, you’ll either be able to purchase it directly within the app for $4.99, or if you already bought the full season multi-pack ($14.99), then you’ll be able to download the episode for free. Check out the trailer below for a taste of this exciting new episode. However, if you haven’t completed (or played) episode one yet, there could be spoilers…you have been warned. (To be honest I haven’t actually watched it for fear of episode two spoilers).
In addition to this trailer the studio has also put out another video for those of you who may be new to the series called ‘Exploring the World of FABLES‘ in which the developers do a nice job of explaining the origins of the game series. You can watch that below as well.

GREAT NEWS! We’ve just received a press release from Telltale Games confirming that their latest episodic adventure game series, The Wolf Among Us WILL be headed to iOS this the Fall.
The Wolf Among Us is a five episode series from the creators of the 2012 Game of the Year: The Walking Dead. Based on Fables (DC Comics/Vertigo), an award-winning comic book series, it is an often violent, mature and hard-boiled thriller where the characters and creatures of myth, lore and legend are real and exist in our world.
The game’s format is very similar to that of The Walking Dead,with your choices playing a key role in the outcome of the game. However, don’t let the fairytale theme fool you, THIS ISN’T FOR KIDS, it is gritty and dark!
The series recently launched on PC, XBLA and PSN for $4.99 for the first episode or a full season pass which gets you all 5 episodes as they are released for a reduced price. If The Walking Dead is any indication, we can expect the iOS release to follow a similar pricing pattern.
I’m really looking forward to sinking my teeth into this one when it arrives in the Fall.

Telltale Games just kicked off an Independence Day sale, dropping the price of nearly every single one of their apps to 99¢s; including their humorous star-studded card game, Poker Night 2. I highly recommend this one, especially at the low price of just a dollar!
If you are a fan of adventure games then you do not want to miss out on all of Telltale’s episodic titles.
I once again HIGHLY recommend the wonderfully irreverent Hector series developed by the team at Straandlooper. It seems that Straandlooper hasn’t reduced the price of the first episode (on the iPhone) yet, but they usually follow suit with Telltale’s sales. The Puzzle Agent games are quite good as well!

Hungry for more Walking Dead?
Well, you are in luck (if you can call a zombie apocalypse lucky), as the folks at Telltale will be releasing the all-new standalone chapter to its amazing (2012 App of The Year winning) Walking Dead adventure game.
First teased at E3 earlier this year, 400 Days will be a $4.99 in app purchase to the existing app and is an all-new story set in the same geographical location as the events of Season One, but features an entirely new group of survivors. The five stories contained within this chapter can be played in any order, yet they are linked and like in Season One, decisions you make in one story will have a direct effect on the other stories.
Today, Telltale announced (via IGN) that iOS gamers will be able to get their hands on the 400 Days IAP on Thursday July 11th.
This should hopefully tide us over until Season 2 launches (presumably) next year.
