I am delighted to have achieved the standard for independent accreditation as a Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB), by the Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour (ASAB).

I am very excited to announce the launch of the Fellowship of Animal Behaviour Clinicians a new professional organisation with the following mission statement.

• To promote evidence based behavioural support for animals and their carers, to the highest scientific standards, in an empathetic and compassionate manner.
• To forge strong links between animal carers, behaviourists and veterinary professionals.
• To support the development of independently accredited practitioners in the field of clinical animal behaviour through mentoring, continuing professional development and supportive fellowship.

I was thrilled to be asked to present at the International Companion Animal Welfare Conference (ICAWC) in Valetta. My presentation was “from cute kitten to purrfect pensioner; meeting the behavioural needs of cats at every life stage”.
