The way my jaw dropped at the cover for Moonshine Becomes You! And then the words ‘monster speakeasy’ further convinced me I need to add to my tbr! The Chrysalis Conundrum also sounds so good, you’re so good at finding upcoming gems!

I also thought Cackle had great themes of friendship, self acceptance and finding joy despite life’s disappointments so maybe this is her forte and I NEED to read more from her! I adored Cackle so much that I’m willing to trust her with a slasher…my most hated subgenre? This is an interesting turn of events lol. Although it seems like it’s so much more than that and I do enjoy time loops!

“Anti-contemplation”?? Hmm. I can see why the writing would be irritating. I can’t stand having to stop and figure out what a sentence means. Interesting concept though — the “cursed movie” trope really can be fun if done well!
