Join Code

In the desktop client you can create your server and press “Generate Join Code”. This will provide you with a “Join Code” that you can email or message to anyone so they can join the server.

Try e.g. to enter the Join Code: abcdefgh. This will make you enter the TeamTalk Official Server. Similar you can get a join code for your server that anyone can use.

New Features and Bug Fixes

Many thanks goes to Sihu Hwang for enabling AAC, Vorbis, etc. on Windows. Along with Join Codes this is one of the main features in the v5.22 released.

Mandatory BearWare.dk WebLogin when starting TeamTalk Pro Server

If you’re a TeamTalk Pro Server owner then notice when upgrading to v5.21 that you have to log on to a BearWare.dk WebLogin account when you start the server the first time. The TeamTalk Pro Server then stores a token in your tt5prosrv.xml file so you don’t have to enter it again.

Previously the Official TeamTalk Servers were hosted by Akamai in the US but now the servers are hosted by Hertzner.
