For the fourth time, the Southwest Florida Chapter of the Professional Golf Association has named Andy Scott Teacher of the Year. He was previously awarded this honor in 2015, 2014 and 2010. Of all his awards, Scott is most proud of the various teaching awards bestowed on him, as that is his passion.
In an interview with the News-Press, he explained his process. “The players I work with know I’m passionate and have a lot of energy,” Scott said. “Then I keep in touch with students, getting to know them personally, eventually tapping into these people and understanding how I can make them play their best.”
As Director of Instruction of Andy Scott School of Golf, Scott teaches thousands of lessons a year. Golfers can book private lessons on course, video analysis lessons, as well as participate in groups classes or clinics. Students of all ages have access to weekly lessons, camps, and schools. Students from Scott’s courses have gone on to successful collegiate careers.
Our TrackMan Radar system has one radar tracking everything the club does before, during, and after impact – from commonly known parameters like Club Path and Face Angle to Swing Direction and Spin Loft. The second radar system tracks the full ball flight – from launch to landing and everything in between; including Launch Angle, Spin Rate and curvature.
The system allows us to get an accurate and complete analysis of your swing, so we can pinpoint weaknesses and ways to improve them. Access to powerful technology, right on the course.
Andy Scott School of Golf stays current, and is now using TrackMan 4’s Dual Radar Technology, which is a significant milestone in the evolution of Launch Monitor, golf instruction, coaching, fitting, and entertainment. One radar tracks the club, the other tracks the ball.
The Dual Radar Technology enables even more data to be captured. Due to its focused, high-resolution radar beam, the TrackMan 4 launch monitor provides the user with the greatest detail and accuracy of the club and ball at the moment of impact. The amount of detail achieved in the club delivery and ball flight is greatly superior to what is possible through Single Radar Technology.
This advancement provides the perfect foundation for analysis and diagnosis. Conclusive data is delivered in an easy-to-understand format, empowering professionals to excel in their training routines.
Don’t guess what you can measure.
