What to Expect

This is a relaxed and friendly session where you can have a go at playing a brass instrument with help from members of City of Southampton (Albion) Band. We’ll have instruments available for you to try, and there’s no need to have any previous musical experience.

Whether you’ve always wondered what it’s like to play a brass instrument, used to play and fancy giving it another go, or simply want to try something completely new, come along and join us!

Why Learn to Play? 🎺

Playing in a brass band is about much more than learning an instrument. It’s a chance to make new friends, be part of a team, build confidence and enjoy making music together.

City of Southampton (Albion) Band has been making music in the community since 1920, and we’re always keen to encourage new people to discover brass banding

Come along on Saturday 10th October and discover how much fun making music can be. Bring your family and friends too — everyone is welcome, and it’s completely FREE!

There’s no need to book with the band — just come along between 9am and 11am and we’ll help you get started.
