Each song contained its own specialized choreography to go along with our students incredible voices, choreography could range from swaying to dancing to throwing and passing around objects, some choreography can even range itself into more difficult stunts such as high jumps, lifting people up, flipping, and other stunts that most would need a higher skillset to perform, One of our choreographers, Melquisedec Brabosa-Pagan, better known to his companions as Mel, had high hopes for this concert, helping pick out solo parts and acts for more than just one student in order to add more action and emotion to our performances.
Using the help of Mrs. Ferland and Mr. Mortier, Mel and other student-appointed choreographers such as Giulia Zacco and Alyssa Mall, our choir was able to put together and adjust the incredible choreography in order to make our Broadway concert way more impactful for students and the audience. Principal Pete Gaffney, who sat in the audience with other supporters stated, “Congratulations to our WSHS Chorus for putting on an incredible Broadway concert! So much fun! So much talent! I wish we could perform this night after night! Really outstanding!”
While our choir’s version of Broadway may not be as promoted and well-known as the Broadway we all know and love, it sure is just as fun to watch and perform it! And while spectators enjoyed the group performances, the small groups and solo acts were just as musically talented and well-presented by each of the students.

As the straw hats continue through the grand line they meet more new helping characters such as Tony Tony Chopper, as well as confronting more antagonists such as the tyrant Wapol and others apart of the organization Baroque Works, such as Mr. 3, Miss Goldenweek, Mr. 5, Miss Valentine, Mr. 8, Miss Monday, Mr. 9, Miss Wednesday and lots of other characters, including their leaders Miss All Sunday and Mr. 0, also known as Crocodile and Nico Robin.
The directors of the One Piece live action have also addressed upcoming actors for characters to come in season three of the show, including Mr. 2 (Cole Escola), Portgas D, Ace (Xolo Maridueña), Mr. 1 (Awdo Awdo), and Miss Doublefinger (Daisy Head). Fans have also addressed slight concern due to the possibility of season three covering only the Alabasta arc, because according to the anime, the Jaya arc, coming after Alabasta could be too much to just fit into one season and would not make sense to cover the rest of it within half of season four, which fans would just have to wait longer for.
What do you fans think? Is the live action adaptation worth the watch, or should others just focus on where everything is ordered in the original anime adaption? Hopefully as we receive more news on the live action, fans will be able to enjoy the show despite how rushed it may seem including multiple arcs within its current two out of twelve planned seasons.

]]>At face value, this situation seems to just be about the parent and the inappropriate interaction involving his child. The focus however, shifted to focus on examining Chappell as a person. The security guard, Pascal Duvier, took responsibility himself and said he acted on his own judgement. Roan made an instagram story addressing the situation stating that she never saw the family and was not aware of this situation. There is no reliable evidence that Chappell Roan personally caused this incident to take place.
The majority of the backlash she is facing has been brewing for quite some time. She is notorious for confronting impatient paparazzi and fans who she feels intrude her privacy. Just recently, for Paris Fashion Week 2026, a clip of Roan went viral where she began filming a fan and paparazzi who were following her around while she was trying to enjoy her dinner. This clip was one of the many instances that people online used to call out what they felt was ungrateful behavior. Many feel her celebrity status accompanies the obligation to interact with fans as they gave her the platform.
This conservation online extends to a bigger issue with parasocial fans. Often in culture celebrities are expected to uphold a gracious demeanor to their fans. This relatability is what often draws in fans to keep coming back. Chappell actively speaking out about how she truly feels is jarring where celebrities are expected to present a strong face even when they disagree with what is going on. While Chappell can come off as cold and distant, she is not trying to emulate something she is not. Instead, Chappell is deliberately telling the world how she wants to be treated.

This installment leans into a more intimate tone, trading multiversal spectacle for street-level storytelling. Peter is truly alone for the first time, navigating a city that feels both familiar and distant. The film explores themes of identity, isolation, and resilience.
What makes Brand New Day stand out is its focus on rebuilding. From a homemade suit to starting over in relationships and purpose, Peter’s journey feels raw and refreshingly human. The action remains sharp and kinetic, with web-slinging sequences that capture the exhilaration of New York like never before, but it’s the quieter moments that leave the strongest impact.
New faces bring fresh energy, while the looming threat challenges Spider-Man in ways that test not just his strength, but his morality. The stakes feel personal, grounded in choices rather than chaos, making every victory and every loss hit harder.
Ultimately, Spider-Man: Brand New Day isn’t just another superhero movie. It’s a story about second chances, about finding yourself when everything you once were is gone. It reminds us why Spider-Man endures: not because he’s the strongest, but because he never stops getting back up. For longtime fans and newcomers alike, this film marks the beginning of something both familiar and entirely new.

After the show came to fruition which had characters like Skips, voiced by Mark Hamil, most known for Star Wars and the Joker from the Batman The Animated series and even J.G Quintel himself voicing many of them like Mordecai. During the course of the show it had won many awards such as the Primetime Emmy awards, and the Annie awards and this showcased how much J.G Quintel’s idea came to life. The show eventually got big enough to where eventually the show had a movie created with it, Regular Show The Movie.
However good things could not last, as the creative team and J.G both felt like they had already done enough with the stories they could tell, and with a creative burnout, they concluded the series in early 2016. Now with a new revival from J.G who after the show went on to create shows like Close Enough an adult swim show, and the same creative team from 9 years ago came back for a revival due to a massive want for the show to come back, and for its cultural impact that the show gave to the audience from the past with nostalgia, and now to help impact the new generation with this revival.
]]>But how are these cell cultivated meats made? Based on a video published by CNBC International, stem cells are taken from animals and put on cultivators where the cells are fed nutrient rich solutions so they multiply into muscle, fat, and connective tissue. More simply put, animal cells are taken and then scientists simulate the body’s conditions so that the cells can multiply in a similar way that they would when repairing themselves in the actual body.
They estimate that 0.001 pounds of cow beef can create up to 4.4 billion pounds of beef. Honing our ability to use cell cultivated meat would significantly help us feed more people and help reduce the world’s greenhouse emissions since raising cattle and meat is substantially less environmentally friendly than the production of plant based foods.
DeSantis’ comparison to lab grown meat and “forcing the world to eat bugs” is a complete exaggeration and misrepresents the process of cell culturing. Our newspaper advisor Ms Freeman when asked about if cultivated meat was an advantage or not she said, “There are good things about it, but it makes me question if it is really something humans were meant to do.” While this process should still be heavily regulated and tested before to make sure it is safe and will not cause health issues, cell cultivated meat can provide a lot of benefits.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this adaptation of “Spider-Noir” the last time we’ve seen Nicholas Cage’s version was in Sony’s “Spider-Man Into the the spiderverse” movie franchise, in which many fans fell in love as his voice acting, and style of “Spider-Noir” felt true to his comic book self, and other previous adaptations. Sony, trying to piggyback off the fandom, decided to continue a spinoff in which they continued off the Spider-Noir from the spiderverse and made it live-action.
There were other adaptations that were also very popular which included, Spider-Noir from the “Ultimate Spider-Man Tv show, and from the video game, “Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions” in which for a split second they showed the character, giving people a taste of him, in which finally he is in his prime as of right now.
]]>This movie is based on a “creepypasta” of the same name started in 2019 on 4chan. One simple image started it all, portraying yellow-wallpapered, carpeted rooms with nothing inside. This simple picture and story has evolved into more “levels” over the years such as The Poolrooms and The Courtyard, with entities like smilers, partygoers, kitty, and classically, “The Lifeform.” The Lifeform is what was portrayed in Kane “Pixels” Parsons’ iconic 2022 video, Found Footage. The Backrooms movie to be released is being directed by Kane Parsons himself, the creator of this video, giving many high hopes that the movie will stay true to classic backrooms levels, rather than the extra of the newer adaptations.
The directing of Parsons holds promise for the film, especially because of his prior experience with the Found Footage video. It is believed that he will stay loyal to the previously established lore, not straying far from the original idea. Some fear that the movie will be low quality, poorly written, or merely not serving justice to the established storyline. Others are hopeful, believing that the directing of Parsons will live up to the expectations.
If the movie is a success, this could mean big things for the film industry as a whole. Kane Parsons is 20 years old, making him the youngest director in A24 history. This could mean big things for the future of filmwriting and directing if the movie goes over well. For years, movies have been made solely by big corporations and can be regarded as purely moneymaking opportunities with no thought put into development. However, with the director working purely from passion, the project having been greenlit when he was only 19, this opens up more opportunity for other young artists to explore work with production studios like A24. More indie projects and studios have been gaining popularity within the past few years such as Glitch and Blumhouse, showing this potential for small creators’ success.
With high hopes and expectations, Backrooms is to be released on May 29 of 2026.
