Excellent work, Shreyas! The visualization showing population evolution across 10 generations really demonstrates the convergence nicely.
Quick question: Have you explored Reinforcement Learning for this problem? Your GA could generate perfect training data (diverse routes + fitness scores), then an RL agent could learn to produce good routes instantly without needing multiple generations.
The sequential nature of routing (next waypoint given current position/weather/fuel) seems like a natural fit for RL. Could be interesting to benchmark GA vs RL vs a hybrid approach.
Either way, really impressive implementation. The OffspringRejectionCrossover pattern is particularly clever!
