My thought was to then include that identifier in our antivirus programs that probe email before allowing them in? Obviously, the writer of this virus is not as illiterate as they try to appear in their warning. II guess it originated here in the US, or in China.

Thanks, Lou. I’m delighted to hear that is working for you. Steve based his statement on Eye-Fi’s advice:

https://support.eye.fi/cards/problem/compact-flash-card-adapters/

Would you be able to tell us what combination of Eye-Fi, camera and adapter is working for you?

– Rob

The statement is incorrect, I’ve been using CF to SD adapter with the Eye-Fi card for several months, and it’s working well!

Read/write support for .kdb and KeePass 1.x. Read-only support for .kdbx and KeePass 2.x – I use it along with DropBox to sync my encrypted password files to all my devices.

Comment on Dropbox Online Personal Storage by Steven McEvoy https://mmeconsulting.com/blog/dropbox-online-personal-storage#comment-4 Fri, 27 Apr 2012 20:44:15 +0000 http://mmeconsulting.wordpress.com/2011/05/14/dropbox-online-personal-storage#comment-4 A new development in this market. Google has introduced “G Drive”, and it includes 5GB of space for free. If you are already a Google Gmail or Apps user, it will seemlessly tie into your existing Google Products. Works very much like DropBox, you get a special folder on your PC and just save something into the folder and it magically sweeps up into the Cloud. Need more than 5GB, upgrading to 25GB costs $2.49 per month, and 100GB costs just $4.99 per month. Check it out at https://drive.google.com.

No need to go to the website (unless you also wanted to see the “coming soon” list).Thanks,- Ken
