#Jesusdeus

Comment on Cryptocurrencies and the Blockchain Technology by Zach @ Dummy Webmaster https://www.lindau-nobel.org/blog-cryptocurrencies-and-the-blockchain-technology/#comment-1387 Thu, 01 Mar 2018 19:33:00 +0000 https://www.lindau-nobel.org/?p=32376#comment-1387 You say digital wallets are like bank accounts, but unlike bank accounts, decentralized digital currencies have one huge problem:

You see, if someone steals your banking credentials/credit cards and empties your bank account, you go to your bank or the police. On the other hand, if someone steals your Bitcoins, who do you go to? Sorry, no one can help! Your money will just disappear into thin air and no one can be held accountable for it except your tough luck!

The same applies if the whole cryptocurrency falls; it just falls into nothingness, whence it came, or at least whence its monetary value came.

I crammed Bohr’s structure of the Hydrogen atom and Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle as an A level ‘boy’ 44 years ago.

Comment on Blockchain Technology: ‘Proof-Of-Work’ Versus ‘Proof-Of-Stake’ by Eric Binkley https://www.lindau-nobel.org/blog-blockchain-technology-proof-of-work-versus-proof-of-stake/#comment-1378 Sat, 13 Jan 2018 05:09:48 +0000 https://www.lindau-nobel.org/?p=30120#comment-1378 This is probably the best explanation of the differences between proof of work and proof of stake that I have read about. Trying to determine which is scientifically superior must have been the most fun experiment ever. I’m curious if you have researched DPOS or EPOS? I’ll look around and see if indeed you have.
