LOVE the first picture at the top! Really captures how excited everyone is (and of course X-Treme Team is waiting front and center with their red shirts that say, “Engineering is like math, ONLY LOUDER!” waiting to go on stage).
For those who may have missed it, the guy in the middle of the audience standing backwards to the stage with the large camera is Academy Award -nominated Director Kief Davidson. He was capturing the spirit of FLL and how it is impacting kids across the globe.

As a proud parent off one of the Vanden High School RoboVikes, I can’t tell you how happy and excited we were to be there when they won their first regional championship with their “Green” Alliance partners. It was a moment in time I will never forget. Thank you to everyone involved for all your hard work on behalf of our kids! On to St. Louis we go RoboVikes!

Wow, about 40% of these teams WON’T be at Worlds (8/21)? I haven’t seen them all, but 1662 and 971 have amazing robots this year and would really represent California well at Worlds… I guess in a few years, a state championship will resolve this.
