Fedora is great so far and I find it hard to switch. Ubuntu was great as my starter distro for linux and I hope new users also find it easy to use like I did

I really enjoyed reading your article! I was doing something similar lately: running Linux Mint in UTM. It is not the official Linux Mint x86-64 though. I ported LMDE 6 to arm64 and made an unofficial build of LMDE6 for arm64. The distribution runs fantastic on Apple Silicon, it is really fast. I can really recommend it.
If you are interested I can send you a copy of the installer image. You might even want to write an article about it on this site, that would be really nice!

It was weird running into this after being consistent with my updates and not having problems in the past. I am glad that they are working on getting this fixed. Luckily it seems there aren’t any hiccups other this from this end at least.
