Hi,

Do you happen to have any query or automation account idea for heartbeat alerts that can be used in following use cases:

Usecase 1

For user initiated restarts, we should get the alert triggered, but should be auto closed and a communication has to be send to the user who initiated the restart.

Usecase 3

False alerts should be removed for extension installations.

Now we are using the normal HB alert and its triggering for extension upgradation and authorized restarts.

Hi I am looking for alerting Heartbeat for machines which are running state. How to achieve that.

Machines which are deallocated, or shutdown shouldn’t be alerted.

I’ve setup the three options on the Alerts page, “Alert Rules”, “Action groups”, and “Alert processing rules”. All are active and I’m receiving emails for the Alerts so I know they’re working. I don’t see any alerts though when I view the page. When I review the query, I can see it refers to alertsmanagementresources but there’s no data in that table as far as I can tell. There is data in the “Alert” Table that show the current time and the status “Fired”. Did I set something up incorrectly so the Alerts in being sent to the wrong table?

A lot of the steps are not in the pictures. What are the settings for Monitor New Change Requests. On the create Appointment I only have the option to add a date, so I assume that is because I don’t have the monitor or the connection from the monitor configured correctly.
