Within two pages of your new book, it was clear you were the author–from the genuine, likable characters grappling with an “unnatural” world to the natural, easy dialogue, and, most of all, to the way the story pulls readers in to the world you have created and keeps them turning pages quickly. You’ve just given your fans more to love.

Comment on The Dragonfly Season (and some really good news) by David Pandolfe https://davidpandolfe.com/the-dragonfly-season-and-some-really-good-news/#comment-44 Wed, 15 Jul 2015 01:28:31 +0000 http://davidpandolfe.com/?p=725#comment-44 Hi Regie, I suspect Lauren’s VW bus has some mystical qualities that might be lacking in some of its counterparts. Just a feeling I get. Glad you enjoyed Streetlights and Dragonfly. By the way, I actually owned two different 1970s VW Beetles at different points along the way. They were cool little cars although I didn’t attempt taking one across the country. I did, however, pull that off in probably one of the first Honda Civics ever made. We arrived in California against all expectations and that little beater ran another two years.

Comment on The Dragonfly Season (and some really good news) by Regie Endsley https://davidpandolfe.com/the-dragonfly-season-and-some-really-good-news/#comment-43 Tue, 14 Jul 2015 19:16:09 +0000 http://davidpandolfe.com/?p=725#comment-43 Already read it and the first book. I got to say this, you never owned a VW van. It physically impossible for any thing made by VW to go from one coast to the other without serious mechanical issues. Over the last 50 + years various member of my family have owed four VW’s a 59, 63, late 60’s or early 70’s and 2009. NONE! of them could run more than a few miles with out some kind of problem My brother’s last episode with him mini bus is hilarious.

Anyway we really enjoyed the books. I’m now trying to read Jump When Ready, but I’m not as into it.

Regie
