DUNDALK, MARYLAND
DUNDALK, Md. — After nearly a decade of terrifying guests at Eastpoint Mall, Bennett’s Curse Haunted House has announced that the 2026 Halloween season will be its final season at the mall, marking the end of an important chapter for one of Maryland’s longest-running and most nationally recognized haunted attractions.
With Eastpoint Mall closing, Bennett’s Curse owners Jill and Allan Bennett are now actively searching for a new Maryland location for the 2027 season and beyond.
Bennett’s Curse has operated at Eastpoint Mall since 2017 and has entertained generations of Halloween fans throughout its more than 25 years of operation in Maryland. Previous locations have included Arundel Mills, Blobs Park and Baltimore City before the attraction made Eastpoint Mall its home.
“This is definitely an emotional season for us,” said Jill Bennett, co-owner of Bennett’s Curse. “Eastpoint has been our home for 10 seasons, and we have built so many incredible memories here with our actors, staff and guests. But Bennett’s Curse is not ending. We are looking at this as the beginning of the next chapter, and our hope is to find a new location where we can continue to grow the attraction right here in Maryland.”
The Bennett family is currently exploring opportunities throughout the Baltimore region and surrounding Maryland communities for a property capable of accommodating the large-scale haunted attraction.
The ideal location would provide substantial indoor space for the attraction, along with adequate parking and accessibility for the thousands of visitors Bennett’s Curse attracts during the Halloween season.
Property owners, developers, shopping centers, municipalities, economic development organizations and others who may know of a potential location are encouraged to contact Bennett’s Curse.
“We would love to remain in Maryland,” said Bennett. “Bennett’s Curse has been part of Maryland’s Halloween tradition for more than two decades. We want our next location to allow us to create an even bigger and better experience while continuing to bring visitors, jobs and economic activity to the community where we operate.”
As Bennett’s Curse prepares for its historic final season at Eastpoint Mall, the attraction is also celebrating a major national honor: Bennett’s Curse has been nominated for USA TODAY’s 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards for Best Haunted House/Attraction.
The nomination places Bennett’s Curse among a select group of haunted attractions from across the United States competing for recognition as one of the best in the country.
For the Bennett family, the nomination is especially meaningful during such an important year.
“To receive a national nomination like this during our final season at Eastpoint means so much to our family and our entire team,” Bennett said. “We have spent more than 25 years building Bennett’s Curse here in Maryland, and we would love to see Maryland come together and help put a Maryland haunted attraction in the USA TODAY Top 10.”
Bennett’s Curse is asking Maryland residents, longtime fans, former guests, actors, employees and Halloween enthusiasts across the state to vote and help bring this national recognition home to Maryland.
Voting is now open. Supporters can vote for Bennett’s Curse Haunted House in the USA TODAY 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards once every day. “This is bigger than just Bennett’s Curse,” Bennett said. “It is an opportunity to showcase Maryland’s haunted attraction industry on a national level. We hope everyone who has screamed with us over the years will vote, share and help Maryland make the Top 10.”
Bennett’s Curse will return to Eastpoint Mall for its 10th and final season in 2026, giving fans one last opportunity to experience the attraction at the location that has been its home since 2017.
While the doors will eventually close at Eastpoint, the Bennett family emphasizes that this is not the end of Bennett’s Curse.
The curse will continue.
Details about the 2026 season, tickets, special events and the USA TODAY 10BEST voting campaign are available through Bennett’s Curse social media channels and website.

For more than 25 years, Bennett’s Curse has terrified guests from across the Mid-Atlantic. Since opening in 2001, the attraction has become one of Maryland’s longest-running and most recognized haunted houses, known for Hollywood-quality sets, cutting-edge special effects, and unforgettable scares.
After calling Arundel Mills, Blobs Park, and Baltimore City home, Bennett’s Curse has spent the last decade at Eastpoint Mall. The 2026 season marks the final season at the Eastpoint location, making this a year longtime fans won’t want to miss.
Whether it’s your first visit or your twentieth, here are **10 things you should know before stepping through the front door.
1. This is your final chance to experience Bennett’s Curse at Eastpoint Mall.
After 10 incredible seasons at Eastpoint Mall, Bennett’s Curse will be saying goodbye to its current home at the end of the 2026 season. While the attraction plans to return at a new location in the future, this is your last opportunity to experience the Eastpoint version that thousands of guests have made an annual Halloween tradition.
If you’ve ever thought, “We’ll go next year,” this is the year to make it happen.
2. It’s one of America’s nationally recognized haunted attractions.
Over the past 25 years, Bennett’s Curse has earned recognition from both the haunted attraction industry and national media. The attraction has been ranked among HauntWorld’s Top Haunted Houses in America, featured in Haunted Attraction Magazine’s “25 Must-See Haunted Attractions,” and is a proud member of America Haunts, an association of many of the nation’s premier independently owned haunted attractions.
Bennett’s Curse has also been featured by Good Morning America, the Travel Channel (Making Monsters and America’s Scariest Halloween Attractions), The Weather Channel, ESPN, ESPNU, NFL Network, TMZ, and Barstool Sports, along with extensive television, newspaper, radio, and digital media coverage throughout the Mid-Atlantic.
3. You’re getting four haunted attractions for one admission.
A single ticket includes access to four massive haunted attractions connected into one continuous experience:
Each attraction offers a completely different theme, atmosphere, and style of scares, creating one of the longest haunted house experiences in the region.
4. Plan on spending 30–45 minutes inside.
This isn’t a five-minute walkthrough.
Most guests spend 30 to 45 minutes making their way through the attractions, depending on crowd flow and how quickly they’re willing to move when the monsters come looking for them.
5. Early season and Sunday nights usually have the shortest waits.
If your schedule is flexible, consider visiting during opening weekends or on Sunday evenings.
You’ll often enjoy lighter crowds while experiencing the exact same attractions, actors, and special effects as the busiest nights of the season.
6. Late October Saturdays are the busiest nights.
If you plan to visit the weekend before Halloween, expect larger crowds and longer wait times.
Tickets often sell quickly, so purchasing online in advance is highly recommended.
7. VIP admission is worth considering on busy nights.
Want to spend more time screaming and less time waiting?
VIP admission provides priority entry and can significantly reduce wait times on the busiest evenings.
8. You’ll see something new every season.
Even returning guests will discover new scenes, updated special effects, refreshed sets, new characters, and surprises throughout the attraction.
The creative team continually reinvents the experience, giving fans a reason to come back year after year.
9. Bennett’s Curse has been scaring guests for more than 25 years.
Since opening in 2001, Bennett’s Curse has welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors and has become a Halloween tradition for families, friends, and thrill-seekers throughout Maryland and beyond.
Its combination of immersive storytelling, detailed scenic design, professional actors, and cutting-edge technology has helped establish its reputation as one of the East Coast’s premier haunted attractions.
10. The Eastpoint chapter may be ending—but the story isn’t.
While 2026 marks the final season at Eastpoint Mall, it isn’t the end of Bennett’s Curse.
Plans are underway for the attraction’s next chapter, and the team looks forward to continuing its tradition of delivering unforgettable Halloween experiences for years to come.
If you’ve never experienced Bennett’s Curse—or if it’s been a few years—there may never be a better time to visit than this historic final season at Eastpoint.

Valentine’s Day usually smells like roses, with a taste of chocolate, and full of romance.
However, Bennett’s Curse Cupid’s Revenge is where love takes a darker turn.
“Cupid’s Revenge,” a haunted Valentine’s Day attraction where romance and terror are
entwined so tightly you can’t tell where one ends and the other starts.
A Date Night… With a Pulse
From the moment couples’ step through cupid’s gates, it’s clear this is far from dinner
and a movie. The air is thick with candle smoke and whispers. A ghoul greets you with a
smile that’s just a second too wide and congratulates you on your “final date.”
Cute. Concerning. Effective.
You’re told to stay close to your partner. “Separation,” the host warns, “has
consequences.”
Romance, Reimagined
Cupid’s Revenge has you decide which path to choose, each leading to a different
ending. Which one will you choose?
Actors don’t just jump-scare; they flirt, plead, and accuse. One moment you laugh
nervously, the next you’re being asked which of you would survive if only one could.
Fear as a Love Language
What makes this attraction stand out isn’t just the scares—it’s how personal they feel.
Actors tailor their lines to couples: teasing long-term partners about commitment, poking
first dates about trust, asking uncomfortable questions that land a little too close to
home.
You’ll scream, yes—but you’ll also clutch each other harder, laugh afterward, and
maybe feel a strange rush of intimacy that only comes from surviving something
together.
Nothing says bonding like shared trauma.
Upon leaving, you’ll feel close to your loved one(s), recalling those multiple cupid
scares, and that ultimate jump.
Final Verdict
If you’re tired of predictable Valentine’s plans, a haunted attraction might be the ultimate
twist: part horror, part romance, all unforgettable. It’s not about hearts and flowers, it’s
about facing the dark, hand in hand, and choosing each other anyway.
After all, love can be scary.
And sometimes, that’s the best part.

]]>When the lights twinkle a little too sweetly and holiday cheer starts to feel just a bit
overwhelming, there’s one winter tradition ready to drag you straight into the
shadows—Krampus. And in 2025, the infamous horned creature of Alpine folklore is
returning with a vengeance at Krampus: A Haunted Christmas. Equal parts are
festive and fear-inducing, this is the holiday event for thrill-seekers, horror lovers, and
anyone who thinks their December could use a good, old-fashioned scream.
A Holiday Event Like No Other
Most holiday attractions bring warm cocoa, charming carols, and merry nostalgia.
Krampus brings… chains, claws, and the icy whisper of your deepest childhood fears.
For 2025, Bennett’s Curse have transformed their award-winning haunt into a twisted
winter wonderland filled with sinister elves, evil toys, shadowy creatures, and the horned
Christmas demon himself — KRAMPUS. Imagine stepping into a winter wonderland
where every pine branch hides something that moves, every bell toll signals danger,
and every snowdrift conceals a glowing pair of eyes.
This isn’t your grandma’s Christmas village.
(It might be where Krampus dragged your grandma, though.)
The Legend Comes Alive
Krampus hails from Central European legend as the punisher of misbehaving
children—Santa’s shadow, the anti-Claus, the beast who comes before Christmas to
dish out consequences.
The 2025 attraction leans deep into this folklore with practical effects, live actors,
animatronics, and winter magic that flips from whimsical to horrifying in a heartbeat.
Why You Can’t Miss It
Horror lovers rarely get a seasonal event built just for them this time of year. While
many holiday events revolve around sweetness and joy, Krampus 2025 offers
something refreshingly dark. It’s a chance to break up the holiday monotony, explore
old-world folklore, and experience adrenaline-pumping fear wrapped in red-and-green
trimmings.
Whether you’re a horror enthusiast, a fan of myth and folklore, or simply someone
seeking a holiday memory that stands out from the usual cookie-cutter traditions, this
event is guaranteed to leave you talking—and maybe sleeping with the lights on.
Final Thoughts
If Christmas is the season of giving, then Krampus is the season of getting what you
deserve. And in 2025, he’s ready to deliver.
So bundle up, gather your bravest friends, and step into the shadows of winter.
Krampus is waiting.
And he knows if you’ve been naughty.

To help you make the most of your visit, here are a few insider tips from the team behind 25 Years of Fear:
Weekends close to Halloween almost always sell out. Skip the line (and the stress) by purchasing your tickets in advance at bennettscurse.com.
If you want to maximize your time, consider the VIP Anytime Pass — it lets you enter at any time and jump ahead of the general admission line.
Crowds peak between 8:30 PM and 10:00 PM. If you can, plan to arrive right at opening or come later in the night for a smoother experience.
Remember — arriving early also means you’ll have time to explore the midway, grab food, and take photos before the scares begin!
Even though Bennett’s Curse is an indoor haunted house, there may be short waits outdoors before entering. Check the weather and wear comfortable shoes — you’ll be on your feet through multiple attractions.
You’ll definitely want to snap a few pictures at our entrance or monster photo ops, but please don’t film inside the haunted attractions. You’ll spoil the scares (and risk losing your phone to the fog!).
Grab a snack before or after your walkthrough. Creepywoods partners with local food vendors on-site so you can enjoy something tasty before you get your screams on. Plus, hang around the Haunted Midway for photo ops, music, and monster meet-and-greets!
Our actors might look terrifying, but they’re there to entertain you. Please don’t touch them — and remember, they won’t touch you either! Just relax, have fun, and let yourself get lost in the world of fear we’ve created for you.
Want to keep the screams going? Pair your Bennett’s Curse visit with our sister haunt Creepywoods Haunted Forest in White Marsh using the Fright Tour Combo Pass — it’s two legendary haunts, one unforgettable Halloween experience!
