Interesting thoughts, Dave. Definitely gave me something to think about. I just published part 1 of a blog series on things I think Christians should learn from Tim Tebow over on my Blog. Obviously he’s not perfect, but I think he’s doing a lot of things right. Impacting society with the Gospel is something all of us are called to. In fact I can’t remember a single occasion in the Bible in which God called someone just to worship or be with him (although that’s definitely the core of our Christian life). God’s calling always came with a clear purpose. I’d love to hear your opinion on what I wrote!

To answer your first question, no. I’ve never been a bandwagoneer. Although, I was an accomplice to a shameless attempt to get Tim Tebow to retweet our “Tebowing” youth video. lol

That’s a great topic, Dave!
Our free will has a lot to do with the authority God has given us over this planet in Genesis. He – in His sovereignty – chose to step back and let our decisions impact this planet. We carry
Bill Johnson – pastor at bethel church – once said: “We always empower the one we agree with.”
I’ve discovered that the more I align myself with God’s perspective over my life the more I give Him power to change me and my circumstances. The opposite is true, too: the more I contemplate on hopelessness and (devilish) lies, the more death and failure will manifest itself.
I think there’s far more power in our focus, thoughts and tongues than we as believers has discovered so far.
Looking forward to part 2!
