We were very happy to host our partners at Active Citizens Partnership on 7โ8 September and continue working together on a challenge that is becoming increasingly important for schools: how to create more opportunities for meaningful offline interaction, play, participation and human connection in an increasingly screen-centred world.
During the first day, partners from Greece, Slovakia and Poland shared the results of the school piloting activities, including feedback from teachers and students who tested the project's draft offline lesson scenarios and intervention cards. These experiences helped us identify what works in real school environments and what needs to be improved before finalising the project toolkit.
We also worked together on the next major project outputs:
๐น finalising the 20 open lesson scenarios and 20 intervention cards
๐น developing the project Toolkit and Booklet
๐น preparing the multilingual Resource Portal
๐น designing the 15-hour Teacher Training Curriculum
๐น planning the international Train-the-Trainer programme in Greece and subsequent national teacher training activities
๐น strengthening dissemination, impact assessment and sustainability activities.
The second day took us outside the meeting room for a visit to Athener Schule in Athens, giving the partnership an opportunity to engage directly with the school environment, exchange ideas with educators and connect the project's work with everyday educational practice.
And perhaps this is exactly what โLetโs Meet Offline!โ is about: not rejecting technology, but remembering that some of the most important things in education still happen when people are physically together โ talking, playing, collaborating, experimenting and learning from one another.

]]>We are delighted to share the third newsletter of the AI Cookbook project, marking a major milestone: the completion of the AI Cookbook, a comprehensive 200-page resource featuring more than 60 practical AI-powered learning recipes for educators working with migrant and refugee learners.
Developed and tested by partners across Europe, the Cookbook combines pedagogical innovation, inclusion, ethics, and accessible AI tools to support meaningful learning outcomes. Following a successful workshop in Athens, the project now moves into the translation phase, making these resources available in multiple European languages and extending their impact to VET and school education.

]]>The CoVE CoRe 5G aims to strengthen Europeโs capacity to prepare learners, workers, and VET providers for the challenges of resilient 5G networks, cybersecurity, and sustainable telecom infrastructure. Through a transnational network of Centres of Vocational Excellence, the project will connect education, industry and innovation ecosystems to develop future-ready skills for Europeโs digital and green transitions.
The 22 multistakeholder partners from 7 EU countries aim to implement one shared ambition: strengthening skills for resilient, sustainable, and secure 5G networks.
]]>The partnership has also created an extensive inventory of AI tools, best practices, and real-world case studies to help educators make informed decisions about AI-enhanced teaching. Alongside these resources, practical AI โRecipesโ are being developed to transform complex technologies into easy-to-follow teaching activities that can be immediately applied in the classroom.
As the project moves forward, trainers will test and validate these resources before they are translated and made openly available through an interactive online platform. Together, these outputs aim to make AI more accessible, inclusive, and impactful for migrant education across Europe.
