This is a Word I have been carrying in my spirit since 2020. It began on June 9, July 4 and 6, and Aug 4. It carried on in 2021 on Jan 4, 18 and 31 and still it continues…

It contains parts of my personal dialogue with God through journaling. I humbly share it in the Name of our Father God, His Son, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit, our Councillor and Comforter. Amen.

Do you also feel some nights that you can’t sleep?

Lord, I have listened to clips and read about the virus, the infection rate, the scarcity of beds and ventilators, then again NO, not ventilators – people die on them, often without being able to say goodbye to their loved ones.

We hear about different pills, home medications, all sorts of home concoctions – all to boost our God-given immune systems. We hear, “Take your vitamins!” Vitamins A, C, D, and Zinc.

Take Colloidal Silver and Iodene, take Ivermectin (if you can get it!) and whatever – everything with a prayer – sometimes in faith, sometimes in fear. And now there’s the “miracle” vaccine!  The answer to the world’s cry and prayers! A counterfeit to Your miracles of healing the sick, Lord! Then I studied the contents of the vaccine and decided: This is it. This is where I draw the line!

Dear believer, please think for yourself!

My friends, please do your own study. Do not be lazy.

Do not give in to the urge to stop thinking, stop reading, stop listening and in the end stop discerning!

It is our God-given privilege to think, to decide, to choose.

To choose between good and evil, between right and wrong, between darkness and Light!

Now fear the Lord and serve Him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your forefathers worshiped … but if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, the gods your forefathers served or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!

Joshua 24:14-15

Don’t listen to words, suggestions, and thoughts such as: “Don’t worry, don’t think. We will do that for you. We know better. We have all the answers! We have the technology your heart desires. The 5G to upgrade your devices to new levels of smartness and speed. We have so many movies you can watch, games to play, people to meet — all on your nearest device — all to keep you happy and busy — that’s much more relaxing and enjoyable, than deep thoughts.”

Lies, all lies in the last days!

It sounds so much like Gen 3:1-5 where the serpent tempted Eve with these words:

“You shall surely not die, for God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing the difference between good and evil and blessing and calamity…”

But it was all empty promises, fake news, lies and deception!  And they discovered that too late!

Now for the last 20 years we hear the same lies. The liar carries on: “We must depopulate the world, bring it down to a sustainable number, because mother earth cannot sustain so many people any longer. Once we’ve brought the population down a bit, you will live in a Utopian world where there will be equality for all! No one will be better than another. There will be enough food, water, land and housing for all. No sickness, (because we have the miracle vaccine) no gender violence or child violence, because gender will not exist and it is every child’s right to experience sexual pleasure from birth – according to the CSE curriculum in schools. There will be no lies, no deception, because we will all think the same – no individuality. No theft, violence or murders because we will be able to trace and track everybody, every evildoer, and thus keep you safe!”

Safety in South Africa? Moreover, there are the farm murders and murder through house breakings. Often the victims are brutally tortured before they die, leaving the families fatherless, or even orphaned. Lord, only You know what their last thoughts or heart cries were as their spirits left their bodies – some to heaven and some to hell.

Our people, our young generation, are hurting Lord, with so much trauma, pain, and unfinished business in their hearts. Others are depressed, angry, filled with hatred and racism.

All of this does not help our economy at all. So many small businesses had to close, people lost their jobs, food prices are rising weekly. People are struggling to make ends meet and living in survival mode. We have forgotten Lord, that You told us to be Overcomers not merely Survivors!

And they overcome, conquered him by means of the blood of the Lamb, and by the utterance of their testimony, for the did not love and cling to life, even when faced with death (holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing)

Revelation 12:11

Lord, South Africa is part of the New World Order (NWO) and very much involved with China – a Communist state. Soon there will be no place for You or Israel, or Your children, unless You come to fetch us. Meanwhile Lord, what must I pray? What must I say? What must I read, and listen to, besides Your Word?

What to pray in 2021

As I poured my heart out to Him, Father said: “Cry out!”

I said, “What must I cry out?”

He said, “Cry out all flesh is as grass! Here today – gone tomorrow!” – Isa 40:6. He explained it like this:

My child, Death is a part of Life since the fall of Adam and Eve. The first result was Cain murdering his brother Abel, remember? Even the good grass, well nurtured and cared for gets cut off – to grow better, thicker, until it feels like a soft carpet. Grass that does not get cut, soon withers, and turns into chaos – a hiding place for snakes, snails, and all sorts of evil. 

And the flowers are the beauty of God. The good things of life are like flowers – also here today to enjoy and gone tomorrow. Nothing here on earth lasts forever child, only My Words and you – if you find your purpose in Me and do My will. 

Scriptures that bring perspective

All people, all flesh is like grass, and all its glory, its honour, like the flowers or grass. The grass withers and the flowers fall – but My Word, My divine instruction, endures forever!   

1 Pet 1:24-25.

Like a flower man comes forth, then withers away. He is like a fleeting shadow, he does not endure.

Job 14:2

Man’s days are like grass. He blooms like a flower and the wind passes over it and it is gone and its place shall know it no more. But the mercy and loving kindness of the Lord are from everlasting to everlasting upon those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him, and His righteousness is to his children’s children.

Ps 103:15

Surely every man goes about like a phantom, (a shadow) surely he hustles and bustles in vain! He is in turmoil. He heaps up riches – not knowing who will gather them!

Ps 39:6

Let the brother in humble circumstances, (one who is poor in earthly goods), glory in his elevation as a Christian, called to the true riches of Christ and to be an heir of God! And the rich person ought to glory in being humbled by being shown his human frailty, because like the flower or the grass he will pass away. For the sun comes up with a scorching heat and parches the gras; the flower falls off and its beauty fades away. Even so will the rich man wither and die in the midst of his pursuits!

James 1:9-11

Your identity remains unshaken in Christ

But you, Poppie, have been born again, NOT of perishable seed, but of imperishable Seed, through My living and forever enduring WORD!

Do not love or cherish the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. :16 For all that is in the world – the lust of the flesh, ( the craving for sensual gratification), and the lust of the eyes ( the greedy longings of the mind) and the pride of life (the assurance in one’s own resources or in the stability of earthly things) these do not come from the Father, but are from the world itself. :17 And the world passes away and disappears, and with it the forbidden cravings, (the passionate desires of the flesh, and the lust of it) but he (you, Poppie) who do the will of God  and carries out His purposes in your life, abides, remains forever!

1 John 2:15-17

So my child, I even I, AM He, who comforts you.

Who are you, Poppie…

…that you fear mortal man, or a son of man who withers like grass? Fret not yourself, because of these evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness, who are not in right standing with Me, for they shall soon be cut down like the grass and wither as the green herbs.

Ps 37:1-2.

And Poppie, if I clothe the grass and the flowers of the field, which are here today, and tomorrow it is thrown into the fire, (I am speaking of evil men that appeared as beautiful flowers) will I not much more clothe you who will last with Me in My Kingdom forever?

Read Rev. Chapters 2 and 3 to see what that will be like and see the rewards of the righteous. Carry them in your heart!

Look beyond the present to eternity

I will give you to eat from the tree of Life – the most beautiful tree in My Garden, I will give you the crown of Life. I will give you to eat from My hidden manna and give you a white stone as symbol of your innocence and that I am your Friend. I will give you power and authority to rule over the nations with Me during the 1 000-year Reign of Peace.

My World Peace will be the true World Peace, a total New World Order because I AM the Prince of Peace. It will be a New World Order in which order, righteousness and holiness will fill the earth! Remember this child, remember your rewards, keep them in your heart and mind. Remember Me when your faith begins to fade.

Oh, you of little faith! Have faith My child! Now do you understand why I said:

“When I return, will I find Faith on the earth?“

Luke 18:8

I meant Faith in ME! Faith in Me that I will settle all accounts because I will return as the Righteous Judge!

I Am asking you tonight: “Do you trust Me to avenge all the wrongs?”

I replied, “Yes, I do believe, Lord. Help me in my moments of unbelief and when the enemy comes to try me, Lord will You pray for me as You did for Peter?”

Trust in Him, even when you struggle to believe

Simon, Simon, Satan has asked for you, (for all of you, each one of you, my children) to sift you like wheat, but I have prayed for you, that your faith may be strong…

Luke 22:31-33

And even when you failed at times – like Peter did, just turn back to Me!

I AM waiting. And when you have turned back to Me, go and strengthen your brothers and sisters with what you have learned through your personal experiences with Me! I Love you, My child.

Yes, Lord I will! And I Love you Jesus! I remember You, Jesus, by taking and having Communion with You!

Jesus took bread and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, Take eat. This is My body, which is broken for you. Do this to call Me affectionately to remembrance… similarly when supper ended, He took the cup also saying: This cup is the New Covenant in My blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, to call me affectionately to remembrance. For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are representing and signifying and proclaiming the fact of My death and Resurrection until I come again!

1 Cor. 11:23-25

Oh, and one last thing: Always remember: “Precious in My sight is the death of My saints!”

How can I repay the Lord for all his goodness to me?

I will lift up the Cup of Salvation (I will take Communion) and call on the Name of the Lord.

I will fulfil my vows to the LORD in the presence of all His people (even if I have to die doing it!).Precious in the sight of Lord is the death of His saints!

Ps 116:12

Post-script:

During January 2021, after many fervent prayers of many righteous people, we saw four of God’s precious saints (who were very close to our hearts) depart to their heavenly Home. Our words are few, our tears are many, but slowly we began to realize: You O God of the Universe, are Sovereign. From that position, You are reminding us that precious in Your eyes is the death of Your saints!
Amen.

Notes from a holy man on the virus situation – 31 March 2020

How can we see it from a Kingdom of God perspective?

How can we pray about it?

To see it with the eyes of faith, we need to realise the simple features: global pandemic and it’s spreading very quickly. It’s caused by a very tiny thing, but this tiny thing has shaken the whole world, causing fear and horror and confusion, extremes of opinion. Some are exaggerating and others simplifying.

It’s a worldwide paralysis of life, everything on hold. This is leading to initial phases of financial problems and will cause major recession with its own consequences.

What is the cause?

This would’ve never happened, this picture of events, unless the hand of God was allowing it in this way and for a purpose that He has on his heart.

Amos 3:6 – If a ram’s horn is blown in a city, will the people not also tremble? If there is a calamity in a city, has Jehovah not also done it? 

The Word DONE in its Hebrew original version and compared to other references, it gives the meaning that God controls it and works through it. Yes, it results from the evil of mankind, but God controls it and works through it.

The calamities are not done by God, but they are the consequences of our evil life and evil in the world. Then verse 7 says: For the Lord Jehovah will do nothing unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. 

God is still sovereign over all

God is patient, patient, patient before the evils of mankind until an appropriate time comes to allow the calamities to come that are resulting from the evils of mankind. But God who is sovereign and overall and controlling everything, He is the one who postpones the occurrence of these calamities until the appropriate time for the salvation of mankind.

When he does allow it, He declares to His prophets. He shares His purpose for His people to be alerted and turned back to Him. It’s also for His faithful servants to pray and seek God’s face.

How can we see these events from the perspective of the kingdom of God?

It is indicating the wrath of God. But what does this expression mean? Is it the same as the judgment of God? It differs from human wrath. It is the wrath of divine love – that which attracts us and draws us more towards Him. It’s like a cry within the heart of a loving Father who wants to save those who are quickly perishing without realising.

It is a wrath that uses suitable tools that differ from time to time and place to place, to draw the attention of the lost souls, especially those who insist on closing their eyes and ears from hearing the call of God. Matt 15:13 says: “For this people’s heart has become gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and they have closed their eyes, lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.” 

This wrath precedes his judgment. It takes different forms so that the person might be restored to God before he is condemned. It is like a divine interference, it is coming at a specific time within God’s economy, where He works through His wrath to rescue the people.

It is time for Jehovah to work; for they have broken Your Law. – Ps 119:26

When the Lord acts, we must pay attention because if we do not, what comes afterward will be more difficult.

Perspective about the pandemic and the signs of the end times

The closer we get to the end times, the more the divine signs begin to take a more intense and clearer form. We can see in Scripture Christ talking about the plagues in Matt 24:27:

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in different places.

So far, we have seen several pandemics, coming in different times and places, but now we see a global pandemic spreading very quickly out of control and taking the lives of many people. We also notice from the book of Revelation that fear is a specific feature that comes with the signs of the end times.

We notice that this pandemic came with fear, but also with intense horror. The cause of the fear is death. This is proof that the people are completely cut off, separated from the source of Life who is the Lord Jesus, whether by rejecting Him obviously and clearly or through being a superficial formal Christian, as we see in some churches now.

What is the mystical biblical language that we can see in these events?

We can see a mystical language in what’s happening.

The churches are obliged to close

The churches are obliged to close due to the superficial realities of the pandemic spreading, but spiritually, what does it mean that churches are obliged to close in so many countries? It is as if God no longer takes pleasure in their prayers. Their hearts are estranged from Him and they are not obeying His commandments.

Amos 5:21-24 – I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not delight in your solemn assemblies. Though you offer Me burnt offerings and your food offerings, I will not be pleased. Nor will I regard the peace offerings of your fat animals. Take the noise of your songs away from Me; for I will not hear the melody of your stringed instruments. But let judgment roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream. 

We see from these verses that sometimes in our situation, we hear so much about our church ministries and spiritual meetings and we say we want to offer to God strong spiritual worship but the prophet calls it “fattened peace offerings” as if God is saying He will not regard them. We offer our prayers, praise and songs but God says, this is noise, take it away from me.

This is of course because of the interferences of the flesh in the worship. The noise of the flesh, instead of hymns being uttered from the spirit. Why? God sees that we do all this worship, but without living in truth and righteousness. He told us to worship in spirit and truth in John 4:24 in His conversation with the Samaritan woman.

The quarantine is another element

This is of course obligatory to avoid the spread of the disease, but what catches the eye is that in the Latin language, the meaning of “quarantine” is the number 40. We are now in the 40 days of Lent.

(Lent originated in around the third or fourth century after Christ, and Lent means, “the great fast.”)

The Lord in His sovereign ways linked the two together, bringing all this together in the Lent time. This is the fast that Christ himself has fasted Himself for our salvation. It’s the only fast that most churches collectively share. It is as if God is saying to us, let our fasting be the quarantine – a spiritual quarantine. Be separate from the spirit of the world. In this way, we will really become partakers of the gift that was given to us in this Lent.

2 Cor 6:16-7:1 – And what agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you are the temple of the living God, as God has said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” Therefore come out from among them and be separated, says the Lord, and do not touch the unclean thing. And I will receive you and I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty. 

The sequence of events

Pay attention to the sequence of events in the last several years, all directed towards one purpose – to awaken the people and redirect them towards salvation. It’s like a sequence of so many things, like when AIDS started and it brought such terror and fear and so many young people died. Then many natural catastrophes, the floods, hurricanes and tsunamis, and also the increasing persecution of Christians. This has caused a lot of migration of people leaving their homes and lands.

To put it in perspective:

• About 260 million Christians faced harsh persecution in the last year (stats from 2019).
• 2983 died for their faith in Christ.
• 9488 churches were attacked or destroyed
• 3711 Christians were imprisoned without trials.

Everything is increasing in intensity and scale.

How do we pray about this pandemic as the people of God?

We must respond to the cry in God’s heart by searching our own hearts and lives, expose any hidden idols and abolish them. Accept the convictions of the Holy Spirit over any defilement, that we could not reject with all seriousness, our lack of concern towards a holy life, lack of interest and perseverance.

Lam 3:40-41 – Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to Jehovah. Let us lift up our heart and hands to God in Heaven. 

When Jacob was returning home, he said in Gen 35:2,3 Put away the strange gods among you, and be clean, and change your garments.  And let us arise and go up to Bethel, and I will make an altar there to God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went. 

Put away idols, our perverse relationships, the gods of sex, money and pride. We need to put away our rejection of God – we conceal it as Christians when we depend too much on our own fleshly logic and opinions rather than on the Word and commandments of God.

Our homes have become empty altars, without prayer, making room for foreign gods. The enemy attacked and made his own altars and now it’s full of defilement, hatred towards others, etc. And where are our children? Have we offered them as sacrifices to the enemy without even realising it?

2 Chron 29:5 – And he said to them, Hear me, Levites, now sanctify yourselves and sanctify the house of Jehovah, the God of your fathers, and carry out the filthiness out of the holy place. 

Isa 30:22 – You shall also defile the covering of your graven images of silver, and the ornament of your molten images of gold. You shall cast them away like a menstruous cloth. You shall say to it, Get away. 

Are we truly a bride to the Bridegroom who is coming to unite with us? Or shall we remain in this shameful state – a bride without adornment, ornaments, or chastity, but with shame and reproach.

A personal thought about praying over this situation

The mentor said, “truly I couldn’t pray for God to lift His wrath, for one simple reason. I see this matter as a bitter medicine, used by a physician to uproot something that is deeply rooted and rotten and will soon kill the patient. Thus, I don’t want to ask the physician to stop and move his hand in what he is doing. But I want to plead with Him to accomplish His work with this medicine for salvation. I want to ask Him to send His grace abundantly more and more until the lost souls return to God. But also, in the middle of all this, I will say like Hab. 3:2- In wrath, remember mercy.

I cannot ask God to stop, but I want to say, bring its fruit. Make it accomplish its work, but in wrath remember mercy.

What is happening now?

Now that all the churches are closed, people are staying at home and this is the time to turn our homes into real churches, as it was in the days of the apostles in the early church. Paul repeated in his early epistles many times, “the church that is in your home.” (See Phil 1:1-3; Rom 16:5; Acts 14:26-28.)

The home churches will have a very important role to play in the end times. Our homes must become TRUE churches. Remember what God told us through Haggai – that their offerings and their peace sacrifices have become defiled before Him because their lives were defiled.

Haggai 2:13-14 – Then Haggai said, If one unclean of body touches these, is it unclean? And the priests answered and said, It is unclean. And Haggai answered and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before Me, says Jehovah. And so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean.

May this crisis bring about the restoration and sanctification of our lives and our homes, that our homes may become churches and form a pleasant aroma ascending to the throne of God, that He may pour out His mercy and the grace of His salvation on the world.

6. The blood of Jesus, the son of God, cleanses me from all sin.
7. The blood of Jesus justifies me from all condemnation, so all the accusations of the devil against me are nullified; He makes me righteous as though I have never sinned.
8. The blood of Jesus sanctifies me and consecrates me so I become belonging to my Lord, dedicated to Him and set apart for His ministry.
9. The blood of Jesus cleanses my conscience from acts that lead to death so that I may serve the Living God.
10. The blood of Jesus makes me enter the Most Holy Place to serve the Holy God.
11. The blood of Jesus grants me victory over Satan and all his principalities.
12. The blood of Jesus is the reason for my everlasting rejoicing.

What are these statements about?

They are about the actions of the blood of Jesus, as described in Scripture – see the references listed above.

These statements are a declaration of the action of the blood of Jesus over our lives, the power of His death and resurrection and its resulting work of redemption, cleansing, forgiveness, and power in our lives.

It’s a powerful tool to remind yourself of your identity in Christ and who Christ is in you. Saying them out loud forces you to remember the truth of Scripture and realign yourself with it. The statements give you strength even as you release the power of the Word, knowing that these words will never fall to the ground (even if your faith is poor).

Memorise these statements as you pray them over the coronavirus and all of your life.

Let the power of praying Scripture give you courage

Pray them over the COVID-19 situation. Say them out loud as a declaration, a battle cry, a weapon of prayer that cannot be defeated.

Pray them over your life, your loved ones, the vulnerable, the elderly, sick, the poor, all leaders and the lost who have more need of God even now than before.

Persevere. There is power in Jesus name. There is power in the blood of Jesus, and it is greater than fear, coronavirus, sickness, death, poverty, loss of income and all the other sufferings of this world.

Pray these statements whenever you need hope, whenever you feel down, angry, doubtful, discouraged, afraid and anxious.

These Scriptures and statements will remind you of how big God is and fill you with the grace from heaven to overcome whatever trial you are facing.

God will not let you down, no matter how things look right now. Even if you suffer loss, you still have eternal hope, you still have God’s comfort and His peace that can carry you through.

Let’s remember in Whom we live and move and have our being, that we may be beacons of stability to the world during tough times. Remember the example of Paul – he was not unscathed in all he went through, but he went through it TRUSTING God, no matter what. We need to do the same.
