You want to reach Cristiano Ronaldo. One of the greatest footballers in history. A global icon. Someone followed by hundreds of millions. It is natural to wonder: Could I ever reach him? Could I ever get a reply?

Let’s start with the facts. There are legitimate ways to try.

The Official Contact Points

  • Email (business inquiries): Ronaldo’s management team and PR handle requests at inquiries@cristianoronaldo.com (addresses like this shift over time, so check his official website).
  • Mail: You can send fan mail to his club or to his sponsors. As of 2025, Ronaldo plays for Al Nassr FC in Saudi Arabia. Letters can be sent through the club’s headquarters, or to his management agency in Europe.
  • Sponsorships and Business: Big brands like Nike, Herbalife, and CR7 Hotels have their own PR teams. Contacting them may connect indirectly to his circle.

So yes, you can try.

Social Media Presence

Ronaldo is highly active on:

  • Instagram (@cristiano) — over 600 million followers.
  • Twitter/X (@Cristiano)
  • Facebook (Cristiano Ronaldo) — one of the most-followed pages in the world.

You can comment, tag, or DM. But here is the reality check: why would he answer to you? Do you think he is scrolling through millions of comments picking one at random? He is busy training, building businesses, spending time with family. You need more than just a message to stand out.

And here is the part you probably do not want to hear: if you spend your life chasing a reply that will never come, you will waste years. Years you could have used to build your own story. One day you will look back and regret that you waited for someone else’s attention instead of building your own worth.

Stadium

Build Yourself First

Here is the truth no fan page will tell you: if you want Ronaldo to notice you, you need to build yourself. Develop a life, a platform, a voice that carries weight. Ronaldo does not reply because he cannot reply to millions. But if you create something of your own such as a following, a project, or an impact you may not only reach him, you may not even care to anymore.

Stop asking how to get Ronaldo’s attention. Start asking how to get your own. Build a life so strong, so valuable, that you would never trade it for a reply from a stranger. That is the path you will not regret.

Build Your Strengths, Like Ronaldo Did

Ronaldo was not simply lucky. From childhood he trained obsessively. He honed his speed, stamina, and precision. Talent helped, but discipline made him. That is your model. You do not have to be a footballer, but you do have to find your strength and double down on it.

Are you good with design? With code? With words? With teaching? With sports? Whatever it is, train it, push it, stretch it. That is how greatness is made. The regret of never having tried is far heavier than the struggle of training.

Training alone

Fix Your Weaknesses, Do Not Hide from Them

Ronaldo was not always the confident leader you see on the pitch. He learned, adapted, and improved. You can do the same.

Your weaknesses are not excuses. They are assignments.

Look in the Mirror

Stop Idolizing, Start Learning

Let us circle back. Yes, you can chase Ronaldo. You can fly across the world, buy tickets to his games, wait outside hotels, and maybe get a selfie. But what then? You will see he is a human being. Just like you. With sweat, breath, and flaws.

All that time and money could have gone into building your own life, your own fitness, your own discipline. Do not waste it on celebration. Use it for transformation.

Ronaldo is not your savior. He is a model. Learn from him. Train like him. Work like him. Focus like him.

Conclusion: Do Not Try to Reach Ronaldo, Try to Reach Yourself

If you want to contact Ronaldo, the email addresses and social media are out there. But that is not the real mission. The real mission is to contact yourself, your potential, your future, your untapped strength.

Because one day you will look back. And you will not regret the unanswered messages to celebrities. You will regret the opportunities you never took to improve yourself.

Stop chasing replies. Start building a life that needs no validation. That is how you win. That is how you make impact. That is how you live.

Greyhound racing remains popular throughout the UK, Australia and across a number of US states with fans of the sport regularly enjoying the thrill of the action on the track. It can be followed on TV with dedicated sports channels broadcasting each and every race although it is hard to beat a night-out at the stadium which can be a very affordable night out. Getting into the sport is relatively straightforward and if you are able to interpret the form, this can also make it a hugely profitable past-time.

Whilst many sports have a plethora of complicated rules and regulations, greyhound racing is one of the simplest to understand. Although there are many different types of race and a number of grades and levels, essentially, the winner is the first dog to cross the finishing line. However, this doesn’t make predicting the outcome any easier.

There are a number of tracks which stage regular contests including Romford, Towcester, Crayford and Newcastle in the UK, Wentworth Park, Sandown and Albion Park in Australia and Palm Beach Kennel Club and Birmingham in the USA. These attract a number of visitors to each event who can enjoy the food, drink and hospitality whilst placing bets through the on-course bookmakers.

Having completed a series of trials, each greyhound will be entered into a race, as decided by a racing manager. A maximum of eight runners can compete in the USA and Australia whilst this is reduced to six for events in the UK. They will each be assigned a trap from which they will emerge once the contest gets underway. A mechanical lure is sent around the track and this will be chased by the field.

Most dogs will race an average of twice a week although there is no obligation to compete in any events if a trainer can’t find a suitable opportunity. A number of top class events are held throughout the year with potentially life-changing money at stake for connections of the winning competitor. The UK Greyhound Derby is one such example and in 2017, Astute Missile landed the £175,000 prize pot. He is 100/1 to repeat that success in 2018 and bettors are able to bet antepost at William Hill throughout the course of the year on a number of upcoming contests.

When betting on this sport, it should be noted that every greyhound will have the occasional off day and it is also important to consider a number of other factors. Look for runners who have dropped down into an easier class of race whilst a dog with early pace (often abbreviated to EP on a racecard) will have a significant advantage and stands a better chance of avoiding trouble at the first bend. The designated trap can also play a significant part in determining the outcome with some runners preferring the inside boxes, as it’s easier to command the rails whilst fast finishers often excel from the outside traps.

If you can get to grips with class system and how it is structured, it is likely to be hugely beneficial and it always pays to look out for a dog which was unlucky not to win on it’s previous outing.

Following greyhound racing remains a popular past-time around the world and it is a terrific sport to follow. It might take a while to get grips with the form card and newcomers should be advised that they are unlikely to start correctly predicting the outcome of each race immediately but over time it can be hugely profitable. Most importantly, it is a terrific spectacle and very little can beat the thrill of the final bend.

The new Chesterfield FC manager, Jack Lester has reinvigorated a team that many of us thought was a relegation team. With the new manager and renewed hope, there is growing optimism around the club and community that Chesterfield FC has a chance of not only moving from the dreaded relegation zone to the comforts of the mid-table. However, with 23 matches already played, there isn’t much time left for the team to start picking up much-needed points. The time to do that is now and January offers a good opportunity for Chesterfield FC to pick up some points.

Coventry vs Chesterfield

The first match for 2018 for Chesterfield comes on New Year ’s Day as we make a trip to Coventry. This will be a test for the team as Coventry are currently sitting pretty in fourth position of the log. Jake Lester has however given the team hope and from his first matches, we can see that the team is not only getting results (unbeaten in five now) but there are playing beautiful football in which we keep possession. Having watched how Coventry plays this season, they have been able to retain much possession and using it to hurt the opposition at the opportune time. If we, however, manage to keep possession away from them, then we have a good chance of winning.

When we first met Coventry in the first half of the season, we played out to a nil-all draw. Considering we were down by one man, to some extent we can say it was a good result even though we were at home. We need to better the first half result and take back all three points in this match. It will be difficult but with the new energy in the team, we can win.

It will be absolutely fantastic if we manage to record a win in our first match in 2018 because that will be a massive confidence boost for our team for the rest of the season. Chesterfield’s chances are high in this game a factor that is also shared by several bookmakers offering great odds for the game.

Stanley vs Chesterfield

The second match for Chesterfield is another tough away match to Stanley. Stanley have been going about their business in a quiet fashion and they are sitting in a comfortable seventh position on the table. At the start of the season, most bookmakers and pundits predicted that Stanley will be there and thereabouts around the relegation zone but they have shown that they are a good side capable of challenging for top honours.

Going to Stanley will be tough, no doubt about that, they will try to press us as high up the pitch as they have been doing all season. The Stanley team is full of energetic players thus; we need to match them for every pound if we are to take all the three points. In the first match, we lost by two goals to one. We need to avoid giving all six points to Stanley so a win is desirable but a draw will not be bad.

Chesterfield vs Luton

Our first home match in 2018 is against the high-flying Luton Town on 13 January. Luton Town is sitting in pole position on the log, four points above Notts County. Luton has been playing some really good football and the results have been coming. Its midway point but they already have that look and feel of potential champions, when playing good football they get the results, when not particularly playing well, they grind out results.

For Chesterfield, we need our defence and midfield to absolve as much pressure as we can because Luton will come at us. We need to be at our absolute best when in counter-attacking and we need our attackers including runners from the midfield to be as clinical as they can if we are to get the crucial three points.

Yeovil Town vs Chesterfield

From Luton, our next match is against fellow strugglers Yeovil Town. The importance of this match cannot be understated because these are the matches we need to win if we are to stand any chance of winning. Yeovil Town is sitting four points above us, win this and we are potentially out of the relegation zone as only a point separates the teams in the relegation zone and the one sitting just above.

The last time we played Yeovil Town we showed great character as we came back from two goals down only to lose in the final moments of the match. We will need that same character this time around.

Chesterfield vs Stevenage

Chesterfield’s last match in January is against Stevenage at home. The last time we met, we shipped in five goals against Stevenage. The aim of this game, therefore, is first to ensure we do not ship in goals. Stevenage is another mid-table team we are playing in January so we need to ensure we do not lose, hopefully by that time the team will have picked up some points and the confidence will be high so we will enter the field with the ultimate aim of revenging our big loss at the hands of Stevenage earlier on.

Fail to prepare, prepare to fail – the mantra of any good coach. Before any training session, as a coach, you must have a clear plan written down or at least in your head. Think about what you hope to achieve, the objectives of your session and, most importantly, your delivery.

Session Theme

Every session should have a running theme to it, rather than consisting of a number of practises that are thrown together. For example, if you are taking a soccer session then you may decide that the theme of your session is attacking – therefore, your practises will be geared towards the attacking element of the game.

Each different player will excel in different areas of their respective sport, depending on the position that they play and where their talent lies. By preparing a number of sessions with different themes, this gives your players the opportunity to develop in areas of their game that they are not so strong, as well as refining areas where they are.

Practises

Once you have settled on the theme of your session, next is to plan your practises. Think about how much time you have with your players and how this will fit in.

It is always best to begin with a warm-up activity that players can join in as they arrive, this way players that arrive early are not sitting around bored. Arrival activities can be fun and something as simple as passing a ball around in groups or small-sided games.

As you plan your session, try and keep to set timings for each practise so as you don’t lose track of your session, but allow for flexibility. If a practise is not going to plan, either because the players are struggling to cope or for any other reason, have a contingency plan to fall back on and adapt.

Of course, the one thing that all players want to do is to play, so try and end the session with a game while encouraging your players to utilise the skills they have worked on in the session.

Equipment

As you plan each practise, take into consideration the equipment that you will need. Write this into your session plan next to each practise – items such as cones and bibs can easily be overlooked without a proper plan.

It would be more than embarrassing to plan a session, only to find once you get there that you do not have the relevant equipment. The importance of planning ahead and ensuring that you have all of the necessary equipment can never be understated.

Safety

The most important aspect of planning any session is making sure that the session and facilities are safe for all of those involved. From football ground equipment to road studs and anything in between, as a coach, it is your responsibility to ensure that the environment and practices are safe.

This also means checking for any signs of injury. A player may not be forthcoming with an injury if they feel that they can carry on as they don’t want to sit the session or game out. Be observant and ask questions of a player if they are showing signs of struggling, as well as asking before the start of the session if anyone is carrying any injuries.

Future Sessions

Planning one session is one thing, but the best coaches plan a block of sessions to complement each other. Youth coaches will often work through a syllabus, similar to a normal teacher, to introduce elements of the game in an organised manner.

The next time you begin to plan your session, consider what aspects of the game your team needs to develop and think about how each session ties into each other.

The first baseball game that you kids play is an exciting time for a parent. There is no better feeling than watching your child run around and enjoy a game of baseball, especially if they are pretty good! It is also an exciting time for the child, which is why they should be ready from ball one. Their first sporting experience could dictate how they view sport in the future and set the wheels in motion for a healthy relationship. Or, it could force them to resent the game.

Here’s how to prepare them for their first time.

Buy Them The Right Equipment

Although kids might think otherwise, they don’t need all the latest gadgets to play baseball. Just because A-Rod has a certain glove or bat doesn’t mean they need one, too. What they do need is the kit that fits them perfectly, and that makes the game more comfortable. Baseballmonkey.com has a great selection of youth baseball cleats, as there is nothing worse than running around in cleats that rub and cause blisters, or a glove that is too big. The wrong kit makes it harder to perform well and enjoy the game. When it comes to gloves, Youth Baseball Gloves has a great selection. They don’t do bats, so you will have to look elsewhere, but bats are easier to find. And cleats just have to be the right size for their feet. It’s all simple stuff, yet it makes a massive difference.

Don’t Put Pressure On Them

Parents don’t put pressure on their kids intentionally. Because it is their first time, parents tend to cover all bases without thinking. In the end, they provide too much information for the child to remember. The child then starts to panic that they are not going to do everything right, which sets them back in their development. Are you one of these parents? There is nothing wrong with admitting it because you have their best interests at heart. Maybe try and simplify the game so that they understand it better and have a great experience. No kid should be reading Michael Lewis’s ‘Moneyball’ the day before the game!

Get Fit And Healthy

Kids tend to be active, so their fitness levels are quite high. Some kids, however, are not that active or fit, which may be the reason they are playing baseball for the first time. No one is saying you should take them on a cross-country run to get them fit because they are only kids. But, you can sneakily boost their fitness with a dress rehearsal in the back garden. Start a small game in the backyard to get them running around and used to the rigors of the America’s favorite pastime.

Tell Them To Enjoy It

There is a lot of emphasis on winning in the twenty-first century. For professional athletes, that emphasis is perfectly acceptable. For children, it is over the top. You want to encourage them to play sport on a regular basis and enjoy the benefits of the game. The only way to do that is to let them know that the result doesn’t matter.

As time goes by, they will naturally become more competitive and start to care about winning and losing.

Snooker remains hugely popular with sports fans around the world and is a non-contact game which can be played at home or in pubs and dedicated snooker halls such as Rileys. The game is skilfull and requires both patience and technique. Luckily, it’s a fairly inexpensive sport to pursue and is extremely accessible for players of all abilities.

What do I need to get started?

It’s simple to get started and very little equipment is required. Similar to darts, it can be inexpensive at first as many pubs, working men’s clubs and dedicated snooker halls will have all of the gear. Hiring a snooker table will cost very little and cue hire is also widely available. It is often advised to train alone at first, honing technique, angles and style; however, you may wish to be accompanied by a friend so you can practice match situations and work on concentration levels. Practicing alone will give you the benefit of knowing your strengths and weaknesses, with many top snooker players such as Ronnie O’Sullivan spending hours in solitude perfecting their craft and tweaking small elements of their game.

What skills will I require to play snooker?

Like competing in all sports, it will take persistence, stamina and a desire to succeed. If you have seldom picked up a cue, don’t expect to replicate the professionals immediately, but you’ll notice a gradual improvement over the first few weeks of practice. Good hand-to-eye coordination is another desirable attribute that will always give you an advantage, whilst good arm muscles and a mathematical brain are other skills which will stand you in good stead. Most importantly, approaching the sport with the right mindset and attitude is key.

What are the rules?

Snooker is governed by the WPBSA and all of the rules are available on their website. At the start of the game, there will be 15 red and six colour balls on the table, complete with one white (also known as the cueball). Players begin by using the cueball to pot each of the 15 reds, scoring one point for each of the pocketed balls. Once you have successfully put away a red ball, you may set your sights on any of the colours. These are each worth a different amount (e.g 4 for brown, 5 for blue). If you fail to pot a ball at any point, your opponent will then have the chance to do the same. Once all of the red balls have been potted, the colours must be dispatched in point order starting with yellow. Players will be penalised for potting the cueball or failing to make contact with anything on the table. The winner will be the player with the most points once all of the balls have been successfully put away.

How do I progress?

The only way to get better at any sport is to practice. Cue action is an important part of the game and this doesn’t come naturally; it requires patience and hours of tweaking. There are some life changes, which can be made to possibly enhance ability. Drinking plenty of water and getting a good night’s sleep are both conducive to improving concentration and this a vital element of the game. Kyren Wilson is one of the top snooker players in the UK and the 25-year-old has been ranked as high as number 11 in the world. Wilson is priced at 40/1 for the UK Championship, which gets underway on the 12th of November and will be held at the Barbican in York. He advises playing as many different opponents as possible because facing better players can only help improve your game. He also suggests attending as many different tournaments as possible in order to meet new people who may also be able to help improve your craft. Finally, he advises taking setbacks on the chin, thus avoiding dwelling on defeats for long periods of time and helping increase positivity ahead of forthcoming contests.

Snooker is a very inclusive game which is open to players of all ages and abilities. It is a relatively straightforward game and there are many junior snooker schools available, which encourage kids to get into the sport. The WDBS offer opportunities to disabled players to enjoy the game and they host hundreds of events across the UK each year. Snooker is much cheaper and much more accessible than the likes of tennis or skiing and it’s very straightforward to get started. The game does not discriminate and is open to all players of varying ability. Even if you’ve never previously picked up a cue, it’s never too late to get started and hit the tables of your local snooker hall.

]]>
The role of a team manager for a professional sports team is very diverse, and the skill of spinning many plates at once is very highly prized. The manager is an integral part of the team that works with all the aspects of a professional team both on and off the field. Essentially, the manager runs the team how the director and owner want it to be. Therefore there is mutual consent between the high administrative team as well as the coach and players. Working with the physical side of the business such as producing results on the field as well as marketing the team to consumers, venues, advertisers, networks, sponsors and different investors is all part and parcel of the role. A fantastic manager will always put the team’s interests first and their personal preferences last. They will have a keen interest in the image, the doctrine of the team and what it stands for, the history and the task of modernizing it for the future.

How to get your foot in the door

If you want to become involved in such aspects, you need administrative training in a sporting sense such as an accredited online Master’s Degree in Sport Administration. In the course you’ll cover many aspects of the business side getting prepared for positions at all levels in keeping athletes on the field, managing athletes, tracking finances, marketing the brand in the correct image and gain an insight into the global sports industry. You’ll also study the importance of kinesiology and explore the law around how this impacts on the field and the American legal system. The need to understand and utilize fundamental risk-management strategies is crucial to avoiding legal liability. Professional sports teams want a diverse range of topics to be covered and understood as managing expectation from the fans and audience is just as important and managing the brand as a business.

Showcase organizational skills

Volunteer to organize a local sporting event by contacting the event-holders or speaking with a local sporting team that wants the publicity. When you go the go-ahead, try to create the narrative that is attractive to sports fans. The typical underdog making a comeback plot is tried and tested and brings out the human fight back character in fans. The bitter rivalry that plays on the history between two teams is another great angle to get people in seats. Building up the tension requires a spark that is aligned with the mood of the team you’re marketing. Their ethos and their colors should be well represented with honor and the pursuit of glory.

Local marketing and organization of a sports event, requires the use of local platforms, such as a radio station where you can go on and be interviewed about the contest and explain why people should buy tickets. The local news channel is also a great source of publicity where the same rules apply. Posters and leaflets splayed out around the town or city and distributed in bars connect with local sporting fans.

Athlete management

This also applies prior to being hired as part of a team. Working with a local or professional team, you should be akin to managing the aspects of certain players. Star players need a schedule, so their true potential for the team is achieved, after all, they are a business investment. It’s your job to make sure certain players stay out of trouble in the media; their behavior is closely watched as they represent the team and are fan favorites.

You’ll be in charge of their transport details, their dietary needs, comfort levels such as catering to their injuries by having heat sprays, bandages, tape and prescribed drugs all at the ready for when they need it. For many athletes, you’ll also be their unofficial guidance counsellor, as, after a bad game, they need to be psychologically reassured, and motivation kept high for the next game.

Pre-season junior manager

Apply for a junior manager role to the sporting team you have a true resonance with and passion to glorify. With an accredited degree behind you along with experience in managing local events, your most likely role will be as a junior manager working directly under the directorship, coach, media relations, advertising, sales, event, customer or director of youth sports.

Before the season even starts, a manager will have long meetings with the directorship and the team itself. Pre-season activities include deciding the goals of the next few months and assessing the current state of the team. Next is the in-depth discussion of funding, advertising, getting sponsors on board and contacting third-parties to check up on the potential deal signing. Working directly with the finance department is crucial for maintaining the upkeep of the venue, aesthetically as well as improved safety standards.

The word extreme puts many people off, but the difference is how you use the equipment. Certain extremes are only extreme because of how the person in question uses the apparatus or what kind of terrain he is using it on. There are very easy ways to get involved in your favourite kinds of sport that don’t require you to be on the same level as a professional athlete or participant. Sports are easy to get into, you just need to be diligent and have the guts to start trying them out in a way that you won’t get hurt.

Skate Park

A skate park isn’t a sport, but many kinds of sports take place within them. If you want to get involved then your best bet is to find an entry level skate park for you to start off in, you don’t want to be barreling down huge half pipes before you have even learnt to ride. The next step is choosing which actual gear you want to use, or what sport you want to participate in. The BMX is popular, and it’s even has recently been added to the olympics. You can also use a trick scooter if you wanted something different. A skateboard is the original, next to inline skates. Whatever you decide to use, make sure you use a helmet as well as knee and elbow pads to ensure you don’t suffer to bad on a fall. And you will fall, time and time again until you perfect your sport and can move up onto harder apparatus.

Snowboarding

Snowboarding is a tough sport to get into, but easy to start. First you need to learn to ride one. It can be a strange sensations having your board clipped to your feet with nowhere to move or turn and all movement depends on your legs and weight. You can start off perhaps by taking professional lessons, then just riding down fair to middling slopes. After this you can start trying to hit the jumps and high falls. It can be an incredibly dangerous sport, so make sure you only practice it on approved slopes and areas you feel comfortable with before going off on your own. The same can be said of skiing, which is easier to initially master but harder to get into good jumps and twists with. You need to ensure you have the skills you need first, even if it means trying on artificial snow before going on the real thing.

Mountain Biking

Everyone can ride a bike. But when you start riding down a hill super fast through trees around boulders and over jumps the prospect becomes somewhat more daunting. Try to get some tips off the pro’s before you give it a go and hit some of the easier courses before you decide to give it a try, otherwise you could really hurt yourself. You need lightning reflexes and nerves of steel to make it in the pro leagues, but the more you practice and the harder courses you try the more chance you’ve got of making it.

There simply aren’t very many sports that are known and practiced worldwide by different cultures.  Strangely enough, Tennis is one sport that has been able to break down barriers; and of course, tennis courts are everywhere.  The game’s history dates back to 12th century France and originally, there were no rackets, people struck the ball with their palms!  It would not be until the 16th century that we would see rackets come into widespread use.  A Little-known factoid here: Henry the VIII was a big fan of “real tennis”.

The game as we understand it today actually originated in Birmingham, England between 1859 and 1865. With that said, tennis features courts constructed from either relatively soft surfaces (clay, grass, carpet) or hard ones (asphalt, concrete); as you might expect, the hardness of the court affects the bounce and speed of a struck ball.  Naturally, the objective is to send the tennis ball across the net (that’s in the middle of the court) where hopefully, the other player can’t get to it.  Needless to say, it takes quite a lot of physical endurance and speed to play tennis.

If you’re taking up tennis for the first time, you’ll want to choose a decent racket.  Look for a racket with a larger or wider face (head).  Also, the lighter your racket is, the easier it is to swing, so you should consider purchasing one made out of a composite material as they are both strong and light.

Next, you should work on your grip.  Although there are multiple grip types, beginners should consider adopting an “Eastern grip” simply because it’s versatile and perhaps more comfortable.  Grab the racket with your strong hand (overhand, not underhand) so that the face (and strings) is level with the floor and facing down.  You want your fingers to be spaced slightly apart from one another.  When you move to strike the ball, you should tighten up your grip on the racket; likewise, when you are in a resting position or state, it’s preferable to loosen your grip a bit.

Now, there are a number of different ways to actually strike the ball that you must learn.  For example, the forehand stroke is arguably the most important in the game.  It consists of extending the racket to the side and slightly behind your standing position and quickly bringing it forward to smack the ball with great force.

The backhand stroke, as the name implies, is a type of approach that involves hitting the ball on the opposite side of your body, with the flip-side of the racket’s face.  So, for instance, if you are right-handed, a backhand stroke would be on the left side of your body.  Moreover, because a backhand stroke is often weaker for most players, some individuals will often use two hands to increase their overall power.

The Rules

Tennis is played in sets; each match is usually composed of between 3 – 5 sets.  Each set is made up of individual games.  A game is simply a turn where one player is set to serve the ball to the other.  In order to win a set, a player must win at least 6 games (2 more than the other player as well).  Naturally, the person who wins the most sets wins the match.  Scoring for each game is counted as follows from lowest to highest: love, 15, 30, 40.  If the players both tie at 40, this is called “deuce”.  In order to break the deuce and win the game, a player must score twice; the first score gives them the designation “advantage” and the second, the win.

If you want to really learn to play tennis, you should consider some professional instruction.  In addition to simply learning how to play the game, you’ll also want to get out on the court and physically improve both your endurance and form.
