The inauguration marked the beginning of a new platform for students to explore technology, develop professional skills, showcase creativity, and actively participate in technical and co-curricular activities. The event brought together faculty coordinators and student teams who will lead various club initiatives throughout the academic year.

Club Leadership

The clubs are supported by Faculty Coordinators Dr. V.M. Subramanyam and Md. Raziuddin, with T. Triveni serving as Student President and K. Sai Krishna as Vice President. The student teams also include Ch. Ajay Sai as Technical Lead, along with dedicated members handling events, design and media, public relations, documentation, and hosting responsibilities.

Programme Highlights

The programme commenced with a welcome and introductory session, followed by addresses from the Head of the Department and Faculty Coordinators. The Student President, T. Triveni, also addressed the gathering and shared the vision and objectives of the IT Clubs.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the support and contributions of the college authorities, faculty coordinators, and student teams.

A Platform for Innovation and Growth

The inauguration formally marked the commencement of TECHNOVA, CODEX CAREER, and IT VIBRANCE as platforms for student engagement and development. Through these clubs, students will have opportunities to participate in technical activities, innovation initiatives, events, skill-development programmes, creative activities, and collaborative learning experiences.

The IT Clubs are envisioned to foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, leadership, creativity, and continuous learning, helping students build the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the rapidly evolving technology landscape.

The inauguration programme was organized to encourage students to actively participate in technical activities, coding, innovation, teamwork, problem-solving, project development, and professional skill enhancement. The event brought together faculty members and students with great enthusiasm.

The programme included the inauguration of the CSE Clubs Poster, symbolizing the beginning of a series of student-centric technical and co-curricular activities. The clubs are intended to provide students with opportunities to showcase their technical talent through workshops, coding competitions, technical quizzes, debugging challenges, poster presentations, group discussions, debates, and project-based activities.

The Technical Association of Computer Science (TACS) aims to develop a strong programming and technical culture among students and to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. The association will continuously organize activities that promote creativity, communication skills, leadership, collaboration, and technical excellence.

The event concluded with an encouraging message to students to actively participate in club activities and make effective use of the opportunities provided by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Anurag Engineering College, Kodad, proudly participated in IEEE SASIGD-2026, held on 14 August 2026 at Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (A), Gandipet, Hyderabad.

The conference provided an excellent platform for our students to present their innovative ideas, technical solutions, and project work before an academic and professional audience. A total of 9 teams comprising 35 students represented the CSE Department with projects addressing diverse social and technological challenges.

The projects presented by our students demonstrated the practical application of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, multilingual technologies, data analytics, and intelligent decision-support systems.

• SafeRide AI – An intelligent passenger-safety solution that uses smartphone sensors such as GPS, accelerometer, and gyroscope to identify potentially dangerous travel situations and support emergency response.
• GRAN-VEDHA – A multimodal AI platform designed to preserve indigenous knowledge by processing voice recordings, images, and text and organizing community knowledge through intelligent information extraction.
• SafeHer – An AI-powered women’s safety framework offering risk assessment, safer route recommendations, real-time monitoring, and intelligent emergency support.
• SakhiVeda AI – A privacy-preserving, AI-driven healthcare support system designed to provide specialized assistance across areas including women’s health, maternal care, nutrition, preventive care, and health information retrieval.
• MatruRaksha AI – An AI-assisted maternal-health and early-warning system supporting pregnant and postpartum women through symptom screening, risk assessment, and understandable healthcare guidance.
• VoiceHer AI – A voice-enabled, multilingual marketplace assistant designed to help rural women artisans sell handmade products online using voice-based interaction in languages including English, Telugu, and Hindi.
• AI Financial Mentor – A multilingual financial guidance platform designed to assist rural women entrepreneurs with budgeting, financial assessment, savings decisions, loan eligibility, and access to government schemes.
• Kavach AI – A proactive women’s safety ecosystem integrating digital and physical safety features through modules such as Chat Guardian, Profile Check, Safe Route, and Voice SOS.
• EmpowerHer AI – An intelligent business-growth assistant supporting women entrepreneurs with business planning, smart pricing, marketing, sales forecasting, inventory management, funding guidance, and business-health analysis.

A major highlight of the department’s participation was the outstanding achievement of Team Equinox, which secured the 3rd Prize in the Women’s Poster Category for their project SafeRide AI.

1. Poster Opening Ceremony
The Telangana Cyber Security Bureau team formally launched the “Suraksha Ka Tiranga” campaign poster at the Integrated Command & Control Centre (ICCC).

2. Briefing on Cybercrime Tactics & Safety Precautions
Cyber Security Bureau officials briefed the participants on common cybercrime attack patterns, tactics used by fraudsters, cyberattack methods, and essential cyber safety precautions.

3. Facility Visit
The participants visited the Integrated Command & Control Centre premises and viewed its project model and information displays, gaining first-hand exposure to Telangana’s cyber security infrastructure.

4. Interactive Discussion
The students interacted with the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau team and discussed various aspects of cyber safety, cybercrime awareness, and reporting procedures.

5. Certificate Distribution
Certificates of Participation were issued to the student members in recognition of their participation and engagement in the campaign.

Cyber Club student members Mulugu Lakshmi Sai Krishnama Chary and Bandaru Saiteja, Final Year B.Tech CSE (AI & ML), accompanied by faculty member Jeevan Babu, participated in the “Suraksha Ka Tiranga – Towards a Cybercrime-Independent Telangana” campaign organized by the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau at the Telangana State Police Integrated Command & Control Centre (ICCC) on 14 August 2026.

The program commenced with the formal launch of the “Suraksha Ka Tiranga” campaign poster. The Telangana Cyber Security Bureau officials subsequently briefed the participants on how cybercriminals operate, common cybercrime attack patterns, tactics used by fraudsters, and essential precautions to stay safe online.

The participants also visited the Integrated Command & Control Centre, where they viewed the facility’s project model and information displays. An interactive discussion with the Cyber Security Bureau team provided the students with an opportunity to understand cyber safety practices and cybercrime reporting procedures.

The event reinforced the campaign’s message of staying alert, staying aware, and staying cyber safe, while providing students with direct exposure to Telangana’s cyber security initiatives.

Director General of Police Sri C. V. Anand, IPS, Smt. Shikha Goel, Director, TGCSB, and popular Bollywood actor Sri Nagarjuna Akkineni addressed the attendees and emphasized the importance of cyber awareness and responsible digital citizenship.
