個展開催のお知らせ (English follows)
6/11 (水) – 6/19 (木) の8日間、《あたらしいたんい》展を高円寺のプラトーギャラリーにて開催します。
新作《あたらしいたんい》は、詩とメディアアートの要素を取り入れた、表現と技術の両面で私にとってチャレンジングな作品です。皆様のお力添えをいただきながら、日々制作に励んでおります。短い会期となりますが、ぜひご来場ください。
　　　　　　　
《あたらしいたんい》— 言葉、音声、消灯、遅延が織りなすあらたなアイデンティティーと関係性の探求
現代社会における自己と他者のアイデンティティー及び関係の流動性を、詩、メディアアート、パフォーマンス、インスタレーション、インタラクティブアートといった多様な表現方法を融合させて展開する《あたらしいたんい》展。

本展は、谷川俊太郎の詩「いるか」や「らっぱ」に見られるようなひらがなの特性に着目した言葉遊びの詩で構成され、音声センサーがネオンを消灯させるインタラクティブな要素を取り入れている。「消灯することによる表現」という手法を通じ、デジタル環境の影響が強い現代における存在提起のあり方と他者との接続の可能性を探求する。
花崎は、これまでも意図的に現時点におけるテクノロジーの「遅延」要素を作品に取り込んできた。本展においても、音声認識システムとネオンの消灯反応の僅かな時間差などを活用し、デジタル時代における人間とテクノロジーの関係性を映し出す鏡として作品を構成する。

HANASAKI Kaya Solo Exhibition 《new units》

Exhibition Announcement
I will be holding the “Atarashii Tanni” (New Units) exhibition at Plateau Gallery in Koenji from June 11 (Wed) to June 19 (Thu).
The new work 《new units》 is a challenging piece for me in terms of both expression and technique, incorporating elements of poetry and media art. I am working on this production daily with your support. Though the exhibition period is short, I hope you will visit.
　　　　　　　
《new units》— Exploring New Identities and Relationships Through Words, Voice, Extinguishing Lights, and Delay
The exhibition 《new units》 fuses diverse expressive mediums, including poetry, media art, performance, installation, and interactive art, to examine the fluidity of self and other identities and relationships in contemporary society.
This exhibition is composed of wordplay poetry focusing on the distinctive characteristics of hiragana script, similar to those seen in Shuntaro Tanikawa’s poems “Iruka” (Dolphin) and “Rappa” (Trumpet). It incorporates interactive elements where voice sensors cause neon lights to extinguish. Through the “expression through extinction methodology,” the exhibition explores ways of asserting existence and possibilities for connecting with others in our digitally dominated contemporary environment.
Hanasaki has consistently and intentionally incorporated elements of technological “delay” in previous works. In this exhibition as well, the artist utilizes the subtle time lag between voice recognition systems and neon light extinction responses to construct works that mirror the relationship between humans and technology in the digital era.
