]]>Adventure and Victory is a local Dallas non-profit that provides life-skills, job-skills, and leadership training to low- and moderate-income women. Participants learn how to set and achieve realistic goals, relate positively to any of life’s situations, and acquire a sense of purpose and self-worth.

I am in such awe of how amazing God is. He states in His Word that he will give you beauty for your ashes. And I am a living testament to that. While married I became very mean, dark, and ugly. Insecure about my weight and how I looked. But my God! When He said that He would restore all that was taken from me I didn’t know what that meant or looked like. But things began to change. I began to change. And learned how to love myself and take care of myself. I learned how to do my make-up, which led me to wearing it and started having a different type of confidence in myself. God began to feel me with his love, peace, joy, and happiness. And He will do the same for you. Allow God to heal you. Allow God to love you. Get His word down inside of you and become the Queen you were meant to be!

Communities One Family at a Time

When visionary, Jacqueline Johnson started Prayer In The City it was with
the desire of healing communities with intercessory prayer every other
month. What was simply obedience to God, has evolved into a monthly
prayer movement that is not only praying, but being an answer to prayers.
The generosity of this woman of great faith, coupled with the help of
partners have been able to make a difference in the lives of women and
their families all over the metroplex.
The last Prayer In The City was able to provide backpacks, gift cards,
giveaways and school supplies to children who would otherwise have to go
without. What seems like a minor thing to some means the difference in a
family choosing between their household needs and school supplies.
Because of her effort’s children were able to get what they needed to be
successful this school year.
Let’s not forget to add the powerfully anointed prayer these meetings
provide. Which assures that not just families natural needs are met but their
spiritual needs as well. If you could ask anyone who have had the pleasure
to meet Jacqueline Johnson, they would describe her as a prayer warrior!
So, there is no surprise that everything she does is rooted in prayer. Her
ministry embodies the scripture Romans 12:12, “Be joyful in hope, patient
in affliction, faithful in prayer.”

I want to start this email by saying thank you for the invite to the prayer breakfast. I came to the event expecting to showcase my product and services but little did I know that God was getting ready to change my life. After breakfast, we entered to the prayer room. Through prayers, all the personal problems that were weighing me down started to be lifted off my shoulder. I felt as the prayer continued I was being set free from bondage. I left a bit early because I was overwhelmed with emotions. I felt like a new person because for the first time in months I picked up a bible and ask God to please help me which he did. I felt that the event was set to bring me closer to him but also release me any bondage the enemy had over my life, health and finances. I can’t thank you enough Jacqueline for this powerful breakfast prayer for you truly impacted my life for the better.
