Representing our Youth Fair locally at parades, community events and fair board meetings being the voice for the youth to traveling to Charleston, WV to compete has been one of the most meaningful experiences and I look forward to the remainder of my reign. Being part of the Berkeley County Youth Fair has helped shape who I am not only as an exhibitor, a young woman but as a leader rooted in agriculture, service and pride for our community. The Miss Berkeley County Youth Fair program gives young ladies the opportunity to share their agricultural stories, develop leadership skills, and advocate for the future of agriculture in our community.

This experience is more than a competition. It’s about building confidence, strengthening communication skills, and becoming an ambassador for agriculture and youth involvement. Through the Miss Berkeley County Youth Fair competition, contestants learn the value of commitment, teamwork, and giving back, lessons that extend far beyond the fairgrounds.

Any member of 4-H, FFA, FCCLA, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, or the Boys and Girls Club is eligible to participate.

The theme for the 2026 is: “Youth Strong, America Proud”

When you are finished, your design must meet the required full-page ad size and must be in the proper format (.pdf).  Below is the information you will need when creating your entry:

Creating the Full Page Ad:

  • Launch and use any creative computer program which can be converted to .pdf format (required for printer)
  • Set final page size to measure 5” wide x 8” tall
  • Art should be colorful and bright (no trademark characters or logos may be used)
  • Ensure all information (listed below) is included on your ad
  • Save your files as .pdf
  • Email your entry to faircatalog@berkeleycountyyouthfair.org
