It was indeed very interesting to read about Capt. Kalyan Kumar Mukherjee. He was my grandmother, Mamata Banerjee’s, first cousin! We’ve heard all these stories since childhood, but never had the chance to get into minute details of the 1st World War. This was an illustrious family and has many men and women of importance in the family tree.
