Another way to look at archetypes is to familiarise ourselves with the mythology of the planets. Joseph Campbell spoke about myth in this way, " symbols of mythology are not manufactured; they cannot be ordered, invented or permanently surpassed. They are spontaneous productions of the psyche, and each bears within it, undamaged, the germ power of its source." In other words, the myth lives and thrives within all of us collectively and through astrology, we can read which stories are yearning to be embodied at the moment. Maybe, when we embody them with grace they do not turn into tragedies but instead, live out their natural course with beatitude. 

For this Jupiter, in Pisces conjunction, I looked into the myth of Odin and poetry and then I read about Dionysus and his madness. In the end, I discussed what the stories mean for us when the planets finally meet in the sky on the 12th of April, 2022.

We don't actually know if Hermes existed. Still, his teachings remained and were passed on through word of mouth until the 20th century when the 7 Principles were recorded into a book called "Kybalion". Who wrote the "Kybalion" is also unknown. It was published under the ominous name "the Three Initiates". With so much uncertainty around the 7 Principles, it is easy to dismiss them as fiction or a reminiscence of some ancient cult, but it's hard to ignore that some of these rings are a little bit true. Maybe that's why they are sometimes called the 7 Universal Laws. At least to me.
