A 29-year-old Junction City woman was arrested Thursday afternoon on multiple allegations, including burglary and identity theft.

Renee Marie Jimenez was arrested at about 2 p.m. in the 800 block of North Franklin Street on allegations of burglary; vehicle to commit felony, theft, domestic violence or sexually motivated crime; identity theft; and criminal use of a financial card without the owner’s consent involving less than $1,000.

Geary County jail records list the burglary and identity theft allegations as felonies and the financial card allegation as a misdemeanor.

Jimenez was booked into the Geary County Detention Center. No bond amount was listed at the time of the report.

A 25-year-old Manhattan man was arrested Wednesday morning on multiple allegations, including three counts of criminal threat and domestic battery.

Jose Luis Baez Medina was arrested just after 11 a.m. in Manhattan on three counts of criminal threat, one count of domestic battery and one count of interference with a law enforcement officer.

Riley County Police listed four men, ages 60, 38, 49 and 43, as victims.

Medina was issued a $10,000 bond and remained confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of the report.

Riley County Police are investigating after nearly $20,000 was reportedly embezzled from Kaw Valley Greenhouses.

Officers filed the theft report at about 10:41 a.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of Zeandale Road.

Police said a known 44-year-old male suspect allegedly embezzled money from the business.

The total estimated loss was $19,425.

Cru Kalen Eaves Foster was arrested at about 1:43 p.m. in Manhattan on allegations of burglary, criminal damage to property, contribution to child misconduct and violation of a protection order.

Riley County Police listed two men, ages 47 and 43, and a 26-year-old woman as victims. Police said Foster was known to the victims.

Foster was issued a $15,000 bond and remained confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of the report.

A 32-year-old Manhattan man was arrested Wednesday night on allegations of assault and criminal damage to property.

Jacob Bernard Underwood was arrested at about 10:39 p.m. in Manhattan. The arrest stems from a report filed earlier Wednesday involving allegations of assault and criminal damage to property.

Riley County Police listed a 34-year-old woman known to Underwood as the victim.

Underwood was issued a $10,000 bond and remained confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of the report.

A registered sex offender from Manhattan on Tuesday pleaded guilty to two counts of violating the terms of his offender registration in Riley County District Court.

Darrell Lee Stevens, 41, entered a plea deal with prosecutors and was convicted of the charges after he reportedly failed to provide and verify information as required by the Kansas Offender Registration Act and failed to register a social media account with officials.

Riley County Police are investigating after a trailer valued at about $5,000 was reportedly stolen Monday.

Officers filed the theft report at about 5:09 p.m. in the 5500 block of Turkeyfoot Lane. A 38-year-old man was listed as the victim.

Police said an unknown suspect stole a black, single-axle 8-by-12-foot Karavan trailer with a wood deck from the victim’s property.

Anyone with information is asked to contact RCPD or Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Tips submitted through Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and could qualify for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

A 19-year-old Manhattan woman was seriously injured Tuesday evening after being struck by a vehicle near the K-State campus.

Riley County Police responded at about 5:22 p.m. to the intersection of Denison Avenue and Jardine Drive, where a 2027 BMW X6 driven by 27-year-old Vismel Johazel Candelaria-Correa of Junction City had struck a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, Elizabeth Lyle, 19, of Manhattan, was transported to Via Christi Hospital with serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
