Six years. I’m dreaming of another round and while reading your blog I remembered you had a blue plastic cup that was very handy for drinking from the fountains. Did you keep it as a camino memento?

Also, we are practically neighbors as I live just north of you in Edmonds. Am planning to walk the Camino this September. I must admit that when you said ‘Olympia to Missoula’, my heart skipped a beat!

Someday I would love to take at least two days walking down that mountain. Those small towns on the way down seemed like wonderful places to rest…. And how quiet it got after we finished our wonderful tomato salad!

I remember we saw Kim at the restaurant in Molinaseca. He was quite upset because they had brought him vino tinto though he wanted vino blanco and we helped him. I don’t meant to laugh at him, but it did made me smile a little how outrageous it seemd to him that they would bring him the wrong wine. (He seemed, perhaps, a bit too proud to admit he was a bit helpless with his spanish.) I wish him well wherever he is!
