Since then, Laila has remained committed to growing her skills and artistry. She has taken numerous advanced courses to build on her foundation and continually evolve in the industry. Around 2019, after trying a complimentary trial kit, she transitioned to using Amore products—a decision that further elevated her work and passion for the craft.

Laila is deeply passionate about education and embraces every opportunity to learn. She values being part of a supportive, inspiring community while working with high-quality products. Becoming an Ambassador for such an incredible brand is an honor she holds close, and she is proud to stand alongside so many talented artists.

Outside of her work as a nail technician, Laila enjoys running her candle business, visiting her two grandsons in Nanaimo, and spending quality time with her family and dogs in Grande Prairie. She also looks forward to relaxing moments spent camping, enjoying campfires, and soaking up river days.

Leanne finds true fulfillment in watching aspiring nail artists grow and succeed. She takes pride in being a lifelong mentor to her students and is excited about the opportunity to share her knowledge and inspire others as an Educator for Amore.

After her training, Flume started her business, Happy Nail Corner, from her home—a name inspired by both her cheerful personality and the corner lot where her business first began. What started as a modest venture quickly grew into a passion-driven career. Creating nails became her true joy, and she is known for putting her heart into every set, always adding creative designs and ensuring her clients leave happy. Thanks to the loyalty and support of her clientele, her business steadily grew, and she remains deeply grateful to each and every client.

With the encouragement and support of her husband, Flume expanded into a new chapter of her career and now operates a small salon inside the Nomad Hotel lobby in Fort McMurray. Becoming part of the Amore family marks not only an honor but also an exciting step forward in her ever-growing nail journey. It started as a hobby passion while working a full-time job. In 2023 she decided to leave the executive world to pursue her passion full-time and cannot be happier. She has tried many brands in the nail industry and has always gone back to the Amore system.

She loves to be creative and strives to offer exceptional service with attention to detail and professionalism. She continues to educate herself on the latest trends and new techniques which also led her to become a Certified Podologist with the North American School of Podology (NASP) in 2023 and a Certified Wax Technician with Impact Sales Salon in 2025.
