Hi Steve,

Totally agree, K1 = frustration! But the K2 has REALLY been a ‘fit’n forget’ unit, the most attention it gets is a quick check/wipe of the cameras before I set off!

Hi Stanley,
Good point about making sure the shaft is smooth! With 131,000 miles on it, I’m sure I’ll find some wear so a nice selection of fine grit paper is on hand 800 – 3200 should cover it!

Changed mine years ago wtih a Viton one. bought locally here, the shaftrod must be schratchless Karl. otherwise the new one willl leak again.
a few sandpaper untill grid 1000 smooth finish (at the end metalpolish), while rotating the shaft will do the trick.
