Club member Lana Stephens and her dog Brownie in a 1916 Ford Model T Touring car participating at the Hill Climb event in the City of Signal Hill. She completed the 1/10 mile 22% grade in 18.06 seconds. The original Model T Hill Climb event ran from 1956 to 1979.  To celebrate Americas 250th anniversary, a Hill Climb reenactment was held with 20 motorcars climbing the hill.

Some 25 members traveled in their vintage motorcars on the longest original remaining 1926 section of Route 66. Often referred to as the Mother Road, Route 66 is celebrating its 100th anniversary.
