Thank you for praying and partnering with Peace House. Your faithful support makes it possible for us to continue visiting families, encouraging them, and seeing God at work in their lives.

Recently, our team continued follow-up visits in Gicumbi District, where, through Access Ministry, families received chickens as part of a livelihood program. While a chicken may seem like a small gift, it can make a life-changing difference for a family living in poverty.

One mother shared that selling eggs has allowed her to buy everyday necessities like salt, soap, and school pens for her children. For the first time, she is able to contribute to her family’s needs without placing all the financial burden on her husband. She told us that this has reduced stress in their home and brought greater peace to their family.

This is why we believe that practical acts of love matter. A simple chicken is providing more than food or income. It is restoring dignity, strengthening families, reducing conflict, and giving people hope.

We thank God who continues to expand the big family of ATN Rwanda and Peace House Ministries.

Recently one of the girls who graduated from the sewing program here at Peace House in 2023 called Micheline had a wedding and we thank god for His work of healing and restoring through His word in Discovery Bible Study. Micheline has remained in faith and we now celebrate with her as she has her own family.

Thank you for continuing to pray for us.

Praise Report! Big thanks to God and to YOU, our amazing friends!

ATN/Love2Help sent 16 Rwandan participants to the Disciple Making Movement (DMM) Catalytic Camp in Nairobi, Kenya, and it was life-changing!

Our team is now equipped to make disciples who make disciples, multiplying the Kingdom across Rwanda and beyond.

Special joy: 7 of them flew for the very first time!

None of this would have happened without your prayers and support. Please keep our team in prayer as they returned home with a fresh vision and passion.

To God be the glory!

2026 Catalyst Camp Takeaways: Seeds Planted, Paths Set

PRAYER AS A LIFESTYLE

“What I gained yesterday is the understanding that prayer becomes truly meaningful when it is a way of life. Just as breathing is a natural and continuous part of our existence, our prayers should likewise become an integral part of our daily lives. Prayer should not be viewed merely as a scheduled obligation that we strive to fulfill; rather, it should flow naturally from within us. In the same way that our lungs perform the act of breathing without our conscious effort, our communion with God should become a constant and natural expression of our relationship with Him.”

“Morning session: Key things: obedient prayer, prioritizing prayer, prayer impacts nations. Setting triggers for prayers. Prayer is not an activity but a lifestyle.”

COACHING, MENTORING & TRAINING METHODOLOGY

“Afternoon session takeaway: Coaching is not teaching; it is an insightful journey you make with someone until he or she discovers himself or herself the hidden potentials to do what God wants him or her to do.”

“Afternoon session takeaway was about clarification between coaching and mentoring. Mentoring is about taking the initiative to join someone’s life journey and become one of God’s instruments for his or her holistic transformation. Coaching is about upscaling someone’s talents and spiritual gifts. We have seen also that both words are intersecting.”

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, CLC & DMM STRATEGY

“Workshops: Community learning center helps to identify the community entry. It adds value to the society, thus opens doors for DMM; knowing your area is the starting point. Engage the community and key leaders. Find the person, then equip and exit. Those are some of the principles picked.”

“Mwiriwe, my takeaway today is that we should form close partnerships by building small, relational teams that live out and share the Gospel together rather than working entirely alone. We must empower everyday leaders by trusting and sending out ordinary people to share their personal stories of faith immediately. Finally, we need to move outward continuously by actively stepping out of our comfort zones into new neighborhoods and communities to keep the movement growing.”

ORDINARY, OBEDIENT PEOPLE & NEW BELIEVERS

“The concept of an ordinary person sounded somehow new this morning, new in my heart, and I would like to remain an ordinary person to accomplish extraordinary things.”

“My take: Movements are started by people who are nobody in the society. Obedience is practical. New believers can immediately become witnesses. One person can transform a community. Local people transform local communities. Ordinary people are reproducible. From the workshops: I need to redo one thing 1000 times instead of doing 1000 things. I must identify the person of peace from my ecosystem. You cannot be a disciple maker without making disciples, but you also cannot be a disciple without making teams.”

OBEDIENCE, EVALUATION & PRACTICAL APPLICATION

“What I learned has been of great value and benefit to me. If we faithfully put into practice the truths we have discovered in the Scriptures, God will use us for His purpose, and all glory will be given to Him. Knowledge or understanding alone is not enough; if we do not obey and apply what we have learned, it will not positively impact others. Additionally, I came to understand that my neighbor is anyone who looks to me for help or is in need of my assistance.”

“First workshop attended was a culture of evaluation. I understood that it should be a lifestyle of a disciple maker. This will help to know your strengths as well as your weaknesses.”

The ATN Endowment: Making Every Dollar Count

Right now, 5% of every gift to Africa Transformation Network covers essential U.S. administrative costs—from compliance and accounting to donor communication. We are building the ATN Endowment to permanently cover those operational expenses so that 100% of your donations can go directly toward ministries in Africa.

This fund is our commitment to long-term sustainability. By securing our daily costs today, we ensure the ministry can serve faithfully for years to come. We have reached 60% of our endowment target. We ask that you prayerfully consider giving towards the Endowment so we can keep the focus where it belongs: transforming communities across Africa.

This week has been a beautiful week of connection, joy, and hope as we gathered with The Hills Church Group, Xtra Mile Academy pre-primary and primary students, parents, teachers, ATN staff, Peace House Ministries, Community Development, Vocational Training, and Christ Hope Church. We deeply appreciated your presence and the time you spent with our community.

Moments like these remind us that lasting transformation happens through relationships. As children laughed, learned, worshiped, and shared their talents, we witnessed the power of a caring community coming together to encourage and invest in the next generation.

Because of your friendship, prayers, and generous support, children and families are experiencing more than education and services. They are finding hope, love, belonging, and opportunities that are helping shape brighter futures.

Thank you for walking alongside us in this mission. Every child’s smile, every life touched, and every story of transformation reflects the impact of your partnership.

From all of us at ATN, Xtra Mile Academy, Peace House Ministries, Community Development, Vocational Training, and Christ Hope Church, thank you for investing in the children and families of Rwanda.

Together, we are seeing lives changed, hope restored, and communities transformed for generations to come.

Reference: Luke 10:25-37 Theme: Loving your neighbor through compassionate action

Today, the XMA community obeys this verse by doing the following:

  1. Every academic year, XMA does this charity activity. Today, we went to ADEPR Hospital in the pediatric department to visit vulnerable children who do not have someone to take care of.
  2. XMA students have donated through their parents and staff; mainly it was money and hygiene materials.
  3. The school managed to pay medical bills for ten (10) fellow children who are hospitalized and have no one to take care of them.
  4. The representatives of the XMA community were able to distribute hygiene materials, food, and drinks in the pediatric department.

We will keep training our students to be like Jesus Christ.

Today, 10 young girls arrived at Peace House Ministries from extremely vulnerable situations. Some were living on the streets, carrying deep pain, fear, rejection, and uncertainty about tomorrow. Many have never experienced a safe home, consistent love, or people who truly believe in them.

Some of them opened the Bible for the first time and enjoyed Discovery Bible studies.

This is the beginning of a new journey.

Through ATN/Peace House Ministries, we are committed to walking with these girls day by day through counseling, discipleship, education, mentorship, and the love of Christ. We believe God can restore what was broken and give each girl a future filled with hope and purpose.

Please pray for them. Pray for healing from trauma, protection, and open hearts to receive God’s love. Pray that they will discover their true identity and value in Jesus Christ.

We also invite you to stand with us in providing food, shelter, clothing, education, medical care, and daily support for these girls. Your prayers, encouragement, and partnership truly make transformation possible.

We will continue sharing testimonies and updates as we witness what the Word of God is doing in their lives as they learn to trust Him and walk in obedience.

Africa Transformation Network, through Xtra Mile Academy, had the privilege of hosting Bugesera District’s ECD Day, focused on child development, nutrition, and child protection.

The event brought together government leaders, parents, caregivers, partners, and community members to promote a safer and healthier future for children.

Children showcased their talents, ECD caregivers were recognized for their service, and families were encouraged to continue supporting the wellbeing and development of every child.

Thank you for standing with us as we serve children and vulnerable families in our communities.

Praise Jesus! ✋

At Peace House Ministries, boys gather for Discovery Bible Study every third Saturday of the month. In a recent session, the group learned from the parable of the talents in the Gospel of Luke. Through discussion and a simple sketch activity, many of them began discovering their talents, dreams, and God-given potential. What seemed like an ordinary Bible study became a moment of hope, encouragement, and transformation for these young boys.
