These really are my favorites with the Mandala Ombré yarn but I was digging through yarn bins yesterday and finding so much yarn I’d even forgotten I have.

I need to knit, crochet, and quilt faster!!! So many projects on my list but today I had a visit at the oncologist’s office and now I’m taking a little “me time” for myself at the library while I wait for a prescription to be filled.

I did get those chemo hats donated too!

I meet Barb for lunch today – she’s the woman from the local guild that I first contacted about donating quilts here when we bought the house in Big Canoe. We enjoyed our lunch together and it was fun learning more about each other. On the way, I say our back yard visitors as I turned on to the main road. It always worries me to see the wildlife so close to the road!!

I can see that our little fawn is starting to lose his spots!

I gathered up a batch of 18 to be donated Tuesday when I go to my appointment at the oncologist’s office. They seem to love my hats!

I also got the RWB Sharon inspired HeartStrings quilt trimmed, the binding on, and I started to stitch it down this afternoon.

Tonight … I worked more on the Linen Stitch Blanket and it’s almost finished so it was a fun filled work day … and I got a couple more Warm up America sections done too!

And I quilted the RWB Sharon Inspired HeartStrings top.

Pantograph is Ebb and Flow and with luck, I’ll get it bound this weekend. I’m leaving for Maine in a week and it will be here before I know it. I’ll be taking this one along with 2 other RWB ones I’ve made for donation to Veterans in Maine.

And speaking of donations, I have an appointment on Tuesday with my Oncologist so I need to get a package of Chemo hats ready to take with me to donate.

Since Finn isn’t good with other dogs – we’re sleeping downstairs. That helped me realize on Tuesday night (it was hot!) that the downstairs AC wasn’t working so we had our HVAC people come – today – and they fixed it. However, it’s the original unit from 26 years ago so we will be replacing it when we get home in November after our trip to Maine and before winter hits!

And there were MONKEYS!!! One of my favorite critters to donate with my little Quilts – 6 of them for $6 each – can’t beat that!!!!

And as a bonus … a sunset as we left “town”

I love that my yard is in the wilderness and filled with wildlife!
