These objectives encompass eradicating poverty, ensuring zero hunger, promoting good health and well-being, providing quality education, achieving gender equality, ensuring access to clean water and sanitation, promoting affordable and clean energy, fostering decent work and economic growth, facilitating industry, innovation, and infrastructure, reducing inequalities, building sustainable communities, taking climate action, preserving life on land, and fostering partnerships for the goals. Analysis of the SDG Dashboard highlights disparities between the current development levels in Indonesia and the targeted objectives set by the SDGs. This analysis underscores the urgent need for intervention to address existing inequities and accelerate progress towards achieving these objectives. Additionally, the concept of greenwashing, or the deceptive practice of presenting an environmentally friendly image while engaging in environmentally harmful activities, is examined through educational videos. This examination emphasizes the importance of transparency and authenticity in sustainability efforts, urging organizations to uphold genuine environmental commitments. Furthermore, comprehensive sustainability data is deemed essential for informed decision-making and value production. This necessitates the enhancement of reporting systems and the integration of data from various sources to provide a comprehensive understanding of sustainability issues. By leveraging robust sustainability data, policymakers, businesses, and communities can make informed decisions and implement effective strategies to advance sustainable development goals in Indonesia and beyond.
Moreover, insights from a study on the relationship between Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) indices and investment decisions are shared. Through surveys and interviews, factors influencing investors’ preferences are elucidated, offering valuable guidance for stakeholders seeking to leverage ESG principles to attract investment. Furthermore, the transformative potential of technology in advancing sustainable goals is highlighted, with emphasis on innovative solutions such as renewable energy and sustainable agriculture to address environmental challenges effectively.
Ultimately, the insights presented serve as a rallying cry for collective action towards achieving global sustainability objectives. By harnessing comprehensive data, innovative technologies, and collaborative initiatives, a fundamental shift towards a more environmentally conscious and resilient future is advocated. These insights provide a roadmap for endeavors aimed at creating a sustainable and prosperous future in our interconnected world.

Class L212 visited the small medium enterprise of Interior Design in Tangerang, 27 January 2024
The sity visit was conducted in SME in interior design manufacturing in Tangerang. It typically refers to a small or medium-sized business engaged in the production of interior design elements, furniture, or related products. Interior design factories may produce a range of items such as furniture, fixtures, cabinetry, wall coverings, and other interior components. This SME specialized in some produce categories, employed around 30 workers, and have clients from offices in Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia. From the discussion with employees, they focused on conventional design and material, and in the middle of applying new innovations such as using the CAD software.
]]>RPL or Recognition of Prior Learning is a learning program that allows prospective students to “transfer” experience into a credit unit recognized by the college.
Let’s say an employee has five years of work experience in the banking sector. Then in the 6th year, he plans to continue his studies to the S2 Business Management program. With RPL, the five-year experience will be considered as a semester credit unit (SKS) that he has taken. So, he then only needs to complete the credits according to the graduation requirements.
Has the RPL been regulated by the Ministry of Education and Culture?
RPL in Indonesia has been recognized and its regulations have also been regulated by the Ministry of Education and Culture through the Minister of Education and Culture, Research and Technology Number 41 of 2021 concerning Recognition of Past Learning. RPL is organized with the principles of accessibility, equality of recognition, transparency, and quality assurance.
RPL at the higher education level is here to fulfill two objectives, namely providing opportunities to continue formal education (RPL Type A) and equalization with special qualifications for prospective lecturers (RPL Type B).
How does RPL work?
RPL generally aims to encourage Indonesians to continue their education by recognizing the education they have taken before. Interestingly, this education does not have to be only in the form of formal education, but also informal or non-formal education, even work experience. With a note, it is still related to the study program that will be taken at the next level.
Just like regular lectures, RPL begins with registration. It’s just me, the requirements are supplemented by a portfolio that shows the experience of prospective students. This can be a certificate of competence, a work license, to a list of work history.
Furthermore, prospective students will go through the assessment stage with the universities that organize the RPL program. This stage will assess how much credit prospective students will get from their work experience or educational history.
If you are declared graduated, you can immediately start studying as scheduled from the intended college. Students do not need to repeat their studies from the beginning but can immediately continue according to the credits they get from their work experience or educational history.
