DriveDx is fully compatible with macOS 26 Tahoe

We periodically receive emails asking if the current version of DriveDx supports macOS 26 Tahoe. The answer is yes. DriveDx (1.12.1) and the SAT SMART driver (the version included with DriveDx) are fully compatible with macOS 26 Tahoe. This has been verified by us and DriveDx users worldwide.

DriveDx v1.12.1 is out! This is primarily a maintenance release. Users check for updates.

What’s new:

macOS 14 Sonoma ready,
Fixed crash on old macOS’s (10.9 – 10.13) when sending email reports via SMTP,
Fixed driver installer now doesn’t require Rosetta 2,
Fixed sending email reports via Apple Mail on initial install on macOS 11+,
Improved drive diagnostic algorithms and heuristics,
Improved support of Patriot P200 SSDs,
Updated drive health change notification thresholds (now less “aggressive”),
Added minor tweaks and fixes.

DriveDx v1.12 is out! Users check for updates. What’s new:

added native support for Apple Silicon Macs,
removed support of macOS 10.6-10.8, now minimum supported version is macOS 10.9 Mavericks,
fixed crash on some Macs on macOS Ventura,
added support of WD Blue SA510 SSDs,
added support for recent models of WD Green Series SSDs,
added support of Kingston DC600 SSDs.

DriveDx 1.12.0

Fixed issues related to last week’s website updgrade

Since last Monday (April 04, 2022) we have been working on our website to speed it up and moved it to a new CDN (Content Delivery Network). In this regard, the DNS servers were changed, but updating the cache of DNS records around the world for some Internet zones may take several days. Therefore, during last week, some of our users may have experienced problems with our website and/or email routing. Now all the work has been completed and (we hope) all the problems that have arisen because of this upgrade have been fixed. We apologize for any inconvenience!
