Hi Rebecca. This is Masa. I used to work with Doug at Integrus. I think I met you just a few times in the office picnics a couple of times. It’s been a while since I left Integrus in 2019 to move to Portland, OR.

I’m so sorry for writing this message to you so late, but I just happened to learn your loving husband had passed in May. My sincere condolence.

I clearly remember Doug’s kindness to this foreign man who didn’t know anything about the U.S.. Integrus became my first job ever in the U.S.. Doug and I a team for some projects and he eventually became my mentor. I really loved and miss his witty jokes and sweetness. It was such fun to work together with him. It seems he enjoyed teaching me some weird American slangs. – I still use the words he taught me nowadays 🙂

I recall Vancouver, WA was the place Doug and you had met. I don’t know if you still have any connection with Vancouver or Portland, but please let me if you have a chance to stop by the area. I would like to see you sometimes again. – I will be thinking about you and Doug.
