]]>The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is live, so I wanted to curate everything I’m loving in one spot. As always, the sale is tiered, so different days unlock different levels of who can shop, but it’s open to everyone starting Monday. The Nordstrom Sale is a good time to shop for timeless outerwear at discounted prices. Even though it’s currently very hot in LA, I’m eyeing a few classic fall coats. I love a chic, belted jacket and this wool and cashmere jacket would be such a staple for fall and winter. You can never go wrong with a trench coat and this Theory cotton trench is the perfect camel color. I’m also eyeing this black longline cashmere coat to layer during the colder months.
As for beauty, I absolutely love the Augustinus Bader The Rich Dream Duo, and this discount is such a steal. If you’re looking to upgrade your nighttime skincare routine, then you need this LED mask and skincare set. I’ve also been loving incorporating micro-currents into my skincare, and this NuFACE toning starter kit is a game changer when it comes to tightening and sculpting your face!
Of course, I had to share my fashion favorites from this year’s sale. These Celine cat eye sunglasses will definitely be a hot item. This navy asymmetrical dress would be perfect for a fall wedding or event; love the chicness.

I absolutely love Merit beauty products. They just came out with this lipstick that comes in some really beautiful shades. I also want to try their new cream eyeshadow. I love the shade studio – I feel like it would be the perfect everyday, and and done, shadow that looks easy to apply. The Armani Fluid Sheer has amazing reviews and seems like it gives you that effortless, lit from within glow. ]]>When we first decided to undergo our renovation, I didn’t realize what a difference the landscaping would make. Living in LA, I really wanted an indoor-outdoor space since the weather is mild here most of the year. However, in order to achieve that, we had to completely redo the landscaping. At first, I wanted to spend that extra money on the interior of our home, but I’m so glad we went ahead and decided to spend it on the backyard. Now, I love being able to enjoy my morning coffee outside and enjoy the views and fresh air. I also love being able to open our large sliding door to bring the outdoor elements inside. Anyway, I’m here to tell you that landscaping truly changes everything! Our backyard went from overgrown and outdated to a fresh, inviting, and truly beautiful space I get to enjoy just as much as inside our home.
I really wanted to be able to entertain outdoors, so we opted for a large outdoor dining table and chairs. I love being able to host dinners al fresco and invite our friends and family over for happy hour on the patio. We also got some cozy chairs and couches where we can enjoy our morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. I just love how the natural wood finishes match the Southern California landscaping and outdoor elements. It makes for a seamless transition between the interior and exterior of our home.

]]>It’s no surprise that a huge part of my job consists of fashion, so I wanted my office space to incorporate that part of my life as well. So, I turned my office space into not only a designated work space with a desk and chair, but I had a custom built shelf made so I can visibly see some of my favorite pieces in my closet. To be honest, I don’t work in my office as much as I’d like but I get so inspired being in this room that it always helps with my creativity. I also love to film here. Whenever I’m doing a try-on or styling post, I often find myself drawn to this room.
I have a thing for shoes – maybe it’s the Carrie Bradshaw in me – so I knew I wanted a lot of shelving to display my favorite pairs. I also love my handbags – each one is unique and special to me. I have memories attached to each one, and so I love being able to see all my beautiful handbags in one place.

]]>I’m continuing the home revel series with our master bedroom and bathroom. I love how bright and airy this space turned out. When I think about a bedroom, I want a space that’s relaxing, peaceful, and most importantly, restful. I really didn’t want anything too dramatic or bold for this space. So, we opted for a neutral color palette on the walls with crisp white bedding. Think luxury hotel vibes where you just want to crawl in bed and never get out. Anyway, I think we achieved the overall hotel look and feel, especially after investing in a good quality pair of sheets.
Speaking of bedding , I broke down everything that’s on my bed in this blog post. Spoiler alert, my entire bedding is from Boll & Branch which is my favorite brand when it comes to bedding. The quality of their sheets is unsurpassed, and their fabrics are super soft against the skin. Boll & Branch sheets make getting into bed an absolute dream! For our bathroom, I wanted that luxury spa feel. So, lots of marble, natural finishes, large freestanding tub and fireplace. I absolutely love the way it turned out – I truly feel like I can take a bath and relax after a long day. I actually love my self-care days because of how relaxing and serene our bathroom is.

]]>The “Great Room,” aka where we spend 99% of our time turned out to be a breath of fresh air. We took a wall separation down between the living and dining rooms during the renovation and opened up this space to become the great room. The name just stuck and the space feels like the heart of the home. I love enjoying slow mornings on the couch with a cup of matcha, enjoying the view of our backyard. In the spring and summer, I love opening the sliding doors to let all the fresh air and sunlight in. This might be my favorite room in the house because it offers that indoor outdoor living that SoCal is known for. The white airy couch combined with the wooden coffee table, marble side table, and natural textures makes the space feel comforting and inviting. I always feel at peace and ease in this room, which is always the goal when renovating and decorating a space. ]]>Who remembers what our kitchen used to look like? We bought our home in late 2019 and spent 2020 renovating it – took down walls, redid flooring, opened up the whole backyard side with bifold glass doors, added beams to the ceiling, smooth plastered the exterior & entirely redid the landscaping. Overall, our renovation took it from a bit darker and dated feeling to a brighter and more natural feeling space that I love. I especially love the way our kitchen turned out. I wanted the space to feel light and airy, a place that was inspiring to cook. I can’t resist a bright white kitchen – it’s timeless and never goes out of style. Incorporating some lighter wood tones, exposed shelving and gold accents helped make the kitchen feel inviting and natural. ]]>One of the most asked questions in my DM’s is which “white” paint we used in our house. I get it – between the range of ivory to cream there are a million shades of white to choose from and you really have to get it right in order to nail that bright but cozy, warm feeling. It’s a rookie move to choose a shade that’s too stark – it can make a house feel sterile and sort of hospital-like, which I really dislike. On the other hand, going too warm can turn things a bit yellow when sunshine is pouring in.
Here’s what we used, including our grey door color! Keep in mind the finish you choose is also important – we typically did a semi gloss on the walls and doors but flat on the ceiling!
