Queen Victoria’s Journals reproduces every page of the surviving 141 volumes of the longest serving British monarch. Numbering approximately 33,000 pages and including separate photographs of the many illustrations and inserts within the pages, this project is a partnership between ProQuest, the Bodleian Libraries, Oxford, and the Royal Archives, London.

BBC Monitoring: Summary of World Broadcasts is now available as a digital primary source collection from Readex. Featuring nearly 70,000 individual multi-page reports – brought together in partnership with the BBC — BBC Monitoring explores new and vital background on 20th-century events.

NB: The collection is still being loaded and will not be complete until Fall 2023.

Maisaku provides: Mainichi Shimbun (1872-present); Weekly Economist (1989-present); The Mainichi (English) (2008-present); and results from Public Opinion Polls conducted by Mainichi Shimbun (1945-2021). Users can also browse today’s news and breaking news.
