BLUF – AT&T healthcare coverage does not have any effect on VA or TRICARE health care benefits.
If you are enrolled in the VA healthcare system, your VA health coverage fulfills the Affordable Care Act (ACA) coverage requirement, the VA encourages veterans to keep private insurance – like AT&T’s – which covers non service connected issues, isn’t restricted by Congressional funding, nor has a priority based system. Learn more about VA Healthcare and Other Insurance HERE
Our members that are eligible for TRICARE may also continue to maintain enrollment in both, or one, healthcare plan. However if you are enrolled into a TRICARE plan, you are no longer eligible for HSAs such as the one AT&T provides. By federal law, TRICARE pays after all other insurance including AT&T’s healthcare plans. If you decide to enroll in both AT&T healthcare and TRICARE, ensure your medical provider lists AT&T’s as the primary and TRICARE as the secondary for proper coordination of benefits. Learn more about coordination of benefits between TRICARE and Other insurance here.

Below are the requirements for a Silver Star Service Banner. These requirements come down through history originating with the American War Mothers. They defined wounded as those who have been “invalided” home.

]]>As a part of Carry The Load’s mission, we honor and remember the service and sacrifice of our military, veterans, first responders and their families. That’s why on Patriot Day, we encourage all Americans to reflect on the sacrifices made by those who served and those who were called to serve due to the events on September 11, 2001.
In honor of Patriot Day 2022, join thousands of volunteers to help clean headstones and beautify over 65 VA National Cemeteries across the nation. To remember these heroes you could also participate in a Carry The Load’s Heroes Challenge, a fitness challenge designed by military experts to honor and remember our fallen heroes.

Did you know that the M&Ms candies we enjoy were once a military-exclusive treat?
The first iteration of the popular milk chocolate candy came packaged in small, easy-to-carry cardboard tubes. They were released to the public in 1941, but a very short time later the U.S. entered World War II and M&Ms became exclusive only to the military where they were packaged and issued with military C-rations and sold in base exchanges and aboard ships in their service stores.
It was only upon the end of World War II that M&Ms were re-released to the public.
