Concession stands will not be open during this event and no outside food or drink will be allowed in the venue.

Tickets purchased are good for one game only. One ticket is not good for both venues. Each building will be cleared of fans in the facility before doors open for the next scheduled game.

UPDATE REGARDING THE MSHSAA SHOW ME SHOW DOWN:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MSHSAA Limits Spectators Allowed at Show-Me Showdown

Columbia, Mo.- Upon the recommendation from the Green County Director of Public Health and in consultation with Missouri State University, the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) will be making adjustments to the access allowed at this weekend’s Show-Me Showdown.

With a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the state and concern for the safety of all who will be working and attending the Show-Me Showdown, each school will be given 150 wristbands to distribute to its fans base. Only fans that have been given a wristband will be allowed in the arena. The distribution of the wristbands will be the responsibility of the school. Only essential school personnel will be allowed access to the arena as well. Any tickets previously purchased are now void. The MSHSAA Office will work with the participating schools on any reimbursements that need to be made.

In addition to the limit on spectators, other elements involved with the Show-Me Showdown have been cancelled. All entertainment groups and recognitions have been cancelled. There will also be no third-place games played, only the semifinals and championship games.

Working media members with previously approved credentials will have access to the games.

Event in JQH Arena to impact campus traffic flow Tuesday, April 16th

The FBLA Conference will be held in JQH Arena, Tuesday, April 16th.

This event will impact campus traffic flow on Tuesday, April 16 from 7:30am – 1:00pm. Most attendees will be traveling to JQH Arena on buses. The buses will drop off at JQH Arena and then park off campus. Conference attendees will not be using campus parking and the lots will remain in normal operation. This advisement is to alert you that it may take more time than normal to drive through campus on Tuesday, April 16. Please make plans to arrive to campus early.

The map shows the path the buses will be taking for drop off and pick up. Expect areas around JQH Arena and along that path to experience congestion during these times.

For the MSU Bears Basketball game on Wednesday, Feb. 6th vs. SIU at 7pm, the buffet in the Prime Overtime Club will feature Szechwan beef, Sweet & Sour chicken, steamed rice, stir fry vegetables, salad bar and dessert bar for $12. Water and iced tea are included in the buffet…sodas and other beverages are available for purchase. The buffet will open at 5:30pm for this men’s game on Wednesday, February 6, 2019.

For the MSU Bears Basketball game on Sunday, Feb. 10th vs. Illinois State at 3pm, the buffet in the Prime Overtime Club will feature Chef’s choice soup, smoked brisket, ham steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, fresh vegetables and dessert bar for $12.
