I definitely did not buy the ending and felt a bit ripped off by it, but some of that I blame on the marketing and the expectations all the various blurbs created. I raced through the book, but there was just too much about it that I didn’t like.

I’ve heard from other reviewers that they didn’t like the ending, and now I’m curious about how I will feel. I’m definitely getting to this by the end of the year!
